Exactly, there is near no point in flying a jet you feel content with when a lvl 890 missile on some flying xml armored brick can ruin it in an instant.

I feel this fighter is one of the few examples of a "golden age" in stormworks combat. No crazy missiles, no stupid manuverable stuff, just some fast little jets that made combat fun.

did you select the missile first using the screen? Also im not sure if the missiles will still work anyway they are very old

In think the button to fire missiles ind switch to mouse steering are a little close to gether

yeah the bombs were thrown together to fill the pylons. The new ashen agm's might fit

This is the most reliable fighter jet i've ever used. Missiles hit 98% of the time (the 2% is most likley due to user error) and pretty much decimates whatever they hit. Only downside is that the bombs either end up getting stuck under the craft until they run out of fuel or spiral away from where i try to hit. Am i using them wrong?

@simo select the weapon on the pylon screen using the square touch buttons then fire with the seat hotkey

the gen low/high just changes the gear ratio on the generators

How do you fire the weapons?

@just a normal guy. The radar that gives off the lock indicator has the same settings as the missiles. The fov for elevation is quite low so you need to point at the target. Still not a guaranteed lock on though. The radars still have some bugs nothing I can do about it sadly.

Fuel probe to disconnect from the refueling plane and fuel door to open the door on the bottom to access the refueling.

fantastic plane, just one problem, the fuel probe is just out of sight so having it be extendable or just further forward so its in the pilots FOV while trying to maneuver would be great.

I either need more practice flying, or some fancy hud with radar that marks the targets on the hud so I can line them up with the targeting reticule... Possibly both...

I'd like to say again that this is probably one of my favorite planes on the workshop, piloting is very smooth and it's both super fast and extremely maneuverable, although I don't think the targeting reticule on the hud lines up quite right with the mouse aim... I just love flying this, even though I'm a terrible pilot in sw... Seriously, I expended a lot of ammo and fired all my ordinance and the only kill I got was a big slow destroyer that I only attacked because it was taking potshots at me while I was dogfighting... And half the time I couldn't even tell where the other planes were... And somehow... I only died when I misused my reverse thrust and left it on for too long, resulting in me colliding with jet below me... It was fun though, thanks to this plane...

If I switch the aa missiles out for a few more of the ag missiles, will it recognize that and mark those pylons as ag, or will the new missiles still be bound to aa?

Space bar for guns. On the pylon screen press e or q on the square buttons then it's 1 to fire. The selected missile will flash

The missiles are puipuix's I didn't have anything to do with thier development. You could try another creators missiles. Uran_wind has some new ones that are quite good.

i noticed if the FPS is below 30 or if at speeds over 350 when launching, the AAM's tend to miss air targets or hardly hit, im not sure if you already tried fixing it but it gets annoying when all 4 miss
