You know, it occurs that with some of the stuff 1.5 is adding this might actually be doable after all. Maybe the original RadWorld was just ahead of its time.

@Zapjerem hope you are able to update it! One of my favorite mods mainly because I am a fallout nerd and my favorite thing is how a society would developed inside a bunker in a nuclear war. Best of luck and Godspeed my friend let us know if you need beta testers for the mod!

Ha ha, seems so! In the end, I'm not beholden to anyone anyway; I do this for fun, no one is paying me, I'm under obligation to no one, so if I were to drop this and never think of it again, I would lose absolutely zero sleep. I'm in a holding pattern anyway - Rick is a good guy, still actively modding, so I really want to get permission before I move forward. I can be lax about that sort of thing sometimes (forgiveness rather than permission, as they say), but not when I know the original author is still active.

You know what, Zal? You're not going to get a lot of people excited to see this continued. Because the average Steam commenter is incredibly and willfully illiterate, and will have no idea you were even asking. So take you're time, you won't be facing nearly as much pressure as I was worried about.

Hopefully everyone can temper their expectations ... I doubt my current C# ability is fully up to this one. A man's reach must exceed his grasp though. If I can get it to 1.4, even if it still has standing issues, it's a start. What's the worst that can happen? I get people hopes up, only to have to throw in the towel? I wish I could say it would be the first time. :) I do appreciate your concern.

@Zaljerem - While you're likely to get a lot of people excited to see this continued, I just sincerely hope you understand what you're getting into with this one - it is a very complex thing that has been plagued with a great number of largely unresolved issues.

As much fun as it was and that the idea is, it's a big chunk of something to bite off.

Whenever I attack a Vault native faction base it just spawns them in a cavern, or whatever location, with no buildings, or loot, whatsoever. Is this intentional? Or is this a bug?

Is there really no early game way to survive radiations? I'm on Naked Brutality and I'm going insane with the radiation taking over even under a roof, since I can't build anything to protect myself

find a isue: When ally caravan came to vilage to trade - there are no traders in caravan. Spend 2 days to find what mod make this bug, and finally - yeap its because of Rad World... Sadly

Is there any way to remove a thick roof in caves? My colonists just stay in one place for eternity, removing the roof over & over again because it never actually gets removed. Dev mode doesn't work, either. I need a place for drop pods to land in, the game lags really bad when it tries to spawn them & the loot is lost :(

any chance we can get this compatable with rimotomics ..

im wondering if thats the reason my people are getting effected by radiation sickness when they are inside a mountain vault and have never been outside ??

trying to get this fixed or it ruines my Fallout sealed vault play

Do you know which mods conflict with this mod? Every time I try to create the world when starting a new game, it crashes.
However, when i have only this mod installed, it works fine.

I wish this mod was compatible with Rimatomics and other mods that add protective gear e.g. using the Toxic Sensitivity stat. Kinda ruins my Fallout gameplay with the Enclave and super mutants.

When adding this to my fallout list, factions no longer spawn in desert and wasteland biomes and only spawn in caves. Is this intended?

Hey my question is next is it possible somehow to remove the yellow haze from radiation ?

it doesnt seem like the radiation removers do anything? im in dev mode with a bunch of colonists in a mountain with 10 of these and everyone is dying of radiation

It would be nice if this mod was compatible with VFE-ancient so that when colonists are under the vault's roof they woud be protected from radiation

I am having a bug where traders won't have the yellow ? to trade with. It is throwing out an error, It only does it sometimes usually always with slave traders though.
