very nice and i like how much work went into this amazing hat, i just think it would do better as a shoulder cosmetic. still, take feedback, but ignore people who are straight cunts about it.

I think this hat could've used a bit of reworking, I'd definitely love to see a hat that incorproates a train-esque design into it.

Still holds the record for "worst hat in the game". For now.

Honestly in my opinion, this would make for a great pet that floats over your shoulder, but I ain't complaining. It's good, nonetheless.

I love this cosmetic, one of my favorites of the update. It has a lot of going on, but I think it's still pretty cute. I haven't checked the smoke effect in-game yet, but that sounds incredible. Unusuals of this will be amazing. Also, that loadout with the Iron Lung looks incredible!

The North Pole Style does fit the Christmas theme, but I think I prefer the Southern Style. We appreciate the creators making both styles.

The fact that you’ve included a secondary style that tones down the festivity INSTANTLY makes this one of my favorite hats from the collection, and I pray to all that is good in holy in this world that other cosmetic creators do the same. Thank you, and keep up the great work.

Its definitely not my style. Not by a long shot. But I can respect this item itself for being well made despite it's very wacky out there nature. I think the details and proportions are fine, and I think its definitely one of the better ones from the case. I think alot of people are just fed up with all the wacky stuff, including myself, and with this whole case being...well, 100% wacky stuff, I think you got caught directly in the firing line. I'm 100% certain there's people that like this, however for me? Not so much.

Look man you did a really good job at actually making the thing itself, the problem was what you chose to make. Look up Leyendecker's work as well as the original TF2 concept art. Simple, straight and long lines, low fi, low poly, but very clean and neat with a lot of attention put on avoiding excessive visual noise. This is the exact opposite of all of that. It's another 'random object but on head' type hat, but because it's a big complex item shrunk down it must necessarily contain a lot more fine detail in such a small space to convey what it is. This train you've made would look really good in a lot of places, tiny and on top of the Engineer's head though, and I think many people agree with me, is not one of them.

The model looks really really good, like really fucking good.
But, it's just an object sitting on a character's head. This looks like it should have been a map prop in a smissmas map. Sure, not every person is going to notice it but you would still get it added into the game, right? You'd still get listed in the map credits?

I like to play an engineer, and I think your cosmetic is quite good, I liked and favorites, with this I have no problems, I want to become a train engineer with this.

It is not your fault that Valve has put garbage cosmetics this year, because seriously, yours has a good design and is beautiful, on the other hand, with the others, they are horrible.

I like model trains and I thought other people would too. I made an alt style that isn't festive so it can be used other times of the year. I thought it would be neat since engineers are associated with trains and we don't really have much for train-related items. I used old steam locomotives as reference and I thought the cow catcher as the hat's brim worked well. I wouldn't make an item that I wouldn't want to wear myself. While I get a train hat isn't everyone's cup of tea I didn't think people would be upset at me. I've submitted some edits to the model that tweak the proportions a bit, maybe it will help
