But I will keep my eyes open. Some ladies are still not undeployable, but many newcomers are
Is there anything you recall that this mod was not compatiable with?
MTU? Puzzle?
Thanks for the kind words. :)
I will still use this mod. Sad to see you leave.
Could this becaused by your entries in the templates tables are ticked on "deployable"?
OK so I messed with the files a bit. Try keeping only the script and the db tables that have "character_generation" in the name. Should work.
I want some historical immersion, so I figured that keeping the women to the time period feels immersive. Also gives the AI and myself more reason to utilize secondary retinues.
If only thing you desire is the disabling of female generals, you only need to keep the script that is in the mod. ;)
All the rest is cosmetic. The db files only distribute the images to the characters.
I removed the UI files and the "campaign_character_art_sets_tables" and "campaign_character_arts_tables". Should I restore the the db files I removed?
- The sole purpose of this mod is for female characters to not appear in game as generals. I already explained how you can recruit certain characters, if you want them. I believe you were already asking this.
Thanks!
Basically this mod affects all the female characters that join the faction, or come of age after the start of the campaign. In full version I also edited all the starting female characters to be undeployable (with the expection of faction leaders).
Thanks for the heads up. For me the mod works as intended. The lite version does not make any changes to startpos characters, so the woman in 8princes, that is there from the start, is not affected and can be recruited. That is the only difference between this and the "full" version.
I am affraid there is no way to make an exception for any character as the script affects characters based on their sex. If you want to recruit Lu Ji, I would recommend you the same thing I recommended to Green Raven. Disable the mod one turn before she comes of age, pass the turn, recruit her, then enable the mod again. 'Tis the easiest way.
If you are using the full version, and the woman in Sima Jiong campaign IS recruited when you click "recruit", please notify me.
Hope it helped. ;)
Thanks!
Unfortunately it does as she is a woman. If you want to recruit her as general you might want to use the LITE version of this mod. In that version all starting characters are recruitable, no matter their sex.
Could not stand half the characters running around in the map as female generals. What was CA thinking?
Thanks for the kind words. And the heads up :)
To let people know, I'm only using MTU, it's event add on and this. This mod doesn't seem to work with any of my save games but does work with new campaign. Just heads up.
- Save game compatible.
- The difference is that this version migh be compatible with mods like MTU or Radious (Should. I do not play with those mods, so idk).
@BFDCYY
- Yes, all females are like empress He.
@DaolordSpear09
- I think it might be compatible with base WDG. Female only WDG addon = definitely not.
