@cst: Sorry, I have no intention to change Pictures.
If you want to do it yourself, go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2645043901\gfx\interface
there you find the Pictures in several folders and you can replace them by simply overwriting them - keep the File Name and they must have that size and dds format.
So, you have to take the decision, and with it only your culture you currently have will get the MAA, no other, Greek or Romane, only yours.
If you wish you could of course switch once the Game has started to another char and do the dscision again, giving it to every culture you want.
After some experimenting I had to reduce the Values of that Unit by a lot!
It is now much more in Line with Standard Units, I'm afraid.
And I noticed that the Tribe-Rulers liked the Fieldartillery Unit, I suppose because they could not get there dirty Hands to any other Siege-Weapon, that I simply took that Unit out for now.
ALL Units are there for everybody right from the Start! No more Decision! BUT the AI should not use them because I gave them an Ai Value of -750 ;)

After all, a Phalanx is a Unit Formation, not a Unit Type.
Wäre es möglich, die überflüssigen deutschen Sprachdateien aus der deutschen Lokalisation zu löschen? im englischen Ordner ist nur ein Bruchteil drin.

Yes, no changes where made in the 1.8 Update.
I'm even sure you could use it from 1.0 to 1.8 ;)
Go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\2645043901\common\men_at_arms_types\
There is only one txt file in it, open it with eg Notepad and scroll down, near the bottom is the definition for praetorian2.
Here you can change everything how you like it, it should be self explaning .
The part that limits how much you get is "max_sub_regiments = 1", you could experiment with that number, save the file and start CK3 new.
As the Player you can give now by the decision the Innovation - regardless of your Culture (when you take it, the Romans and Greeks will get it at once too).
For the purity of the experiment would be good to restart with updated file and form the culture again.
Now I have neither innovation nor decision.
Because at the End the MaA are bound to that Innovation and the Innovation open up for the mentioned cultures. But I think, not 100% sure, if you make a Hyprid Culture this Innovation should transfer over to the new one.
