The game is fun again!
I get the penalty on the "main" resistance types, but also doing this on Bleed and Vitality is just excessive, and utterly kills build variety.
For those who still use this mod, since they have stopped updating the game regularly, there's now a manual install for a permanent game change in the description. Enjoy.
The bounce mod however should work fine, because it's only 1 file that's edited. Looking back, I don't know why this is 57MB, it should be a fraction of the size. I might have stupidly added all database files with it, which in that case I don't know compatible it will be, or anyone even still uses this mod since then.
You can check ingame in the bottom corner the version of the game, it should be 2.10.something, i added 2.9 because someone requested it, I think they were behind on GOG.
At some point, I'm going to reupload the bounce mod and clean it up. Maybe on the weekend, as for a database version I'm willing to do this when they've officially stopped pushing updates to the game.
On your game menu screen, tell me what it says on the bottom right corner, it will say your Titan Quest then numbers stating your game version.
You just said that it is an issue for both version... hence why the question?
May I ask, are you playing the game on Steam with the new 2.10 patch? The UI problems you describe, mainly the hotbar and skill bars transparency is something I encountered when loading the mod on 2.10 before I updated it to this current patch. So if you are still on 2.9, this could be the issue. If you are on GOG, it might still be 2.9.
It having a different database.arz across TQ versions seems the likely culprit.
1. It removes the user interface background from the hotbar.
2. It removes the frame from the big world map.
3. It removes the background of the skills tab, and makes interaction with (allocation of) the skill points impossible.
If you could fix these issues, it would be a great fix for the resistances screw-ups.
