Could you please make a simple mod for BI where the WRE have Tingis/ Mauretania? I just HATE that they start the campaign with a missing part of the Empire.

I just spent days playing as the Celts on this mod only to find out that the victory conditions for them are bugged, dont display, and you just cant win as the Celts in your mod

Thanks a lot !!! I love the Saxons historically but found a little boring to conquer Britain in the vanilla since it had like 4 settlements xd.

Tough but feasible game as the Eastern Roman Rebels had fun converting the Levant to paganism. The bordering region religion converter is tough to counter without enough pagan characters with so many provinces making it a grind but slowly snowballs. Excellent mod.

What really works well with this one is making the WRE and ERE Rebels actual factions instead of emergent after rebellions. It helps reduce the Lazarus Faction issue BI had where a dead faction would regenerate from rebellions, completely broke with a huge upkeep.

This was an under rated mod. And after months of pain trying to manage the Byzantines I finally beat it. The only observation I have is the hoardes should be 4 times as large to match the map being 4 times as large. Also for this time period the Vandals should be in Africa and the Goths should be in Southern France (though it's excusable).

And although this mod clearly won't be updated, having scripted rebellions (like the way the East and West Rebels start) based on year triggers as well as multiple waves of Hunnic Hoardes starting in different locations and even emergent factions like the Gassonids would make this the best BI mod for Remastered.

Ah, I just read that I have to start a new campaign...
I am unfortunately not sure if I started my campaign after the 8th of may...
Would be interested to know if ,for people who started the campaign after that date, the game still crashes.

The game crashes for me as well, also on turn 140(or lets say in the transition of turn 140 to turn 141)
However, up to this point, it was a challenging and refreshing experience to play as the British Roman.
I only wished, that I would also get Pagain Generals:)

Played 2 campaings, one as eastern Rome, other as western Rome, both crashed at turn 140. havent tried other factions though

(2) (also making the merc. poor replenish faster / making the Samaritan horse archer merc. more available would also satisfy me). Also, the pop. System could need a change, for my taste the pop. growth is a bit to strong. Also that a city is fully upgradeable at 25k pop. Seems a but tiny, sure it’s the golden age was over in BI but the still feels a but low. moving the upgrade levels like 5000 for every step hingher or something could be nice for example. Thanks for your work, im a TW veteran (mostly playing BOTET in these days) and honestly its refreshing to be challenged in this mod!

(1) Hello :) I had also some suggestions to make. I can subscribe to the comment from mpmurawski, did the same campaigns. Maybe, but im not sure are the % of pagans and christens in 410 a bit different i would prefer that they are reflected as hist. accurate as possible. Regarding the Romano British, its also a game design choice. There are 2 options, making the family pagans (for gameplay reasons) or making Christianity more spread in Britain (gameplay + h. accuracy reason). Like it is rn it makes the campaign unnecessary difficult :) Also the tier 2 ERE spearmen should get bonus against cav. never understood this in the first place in the vanilla. Also, as a horse archer / cav. player i would be so grateful (like realy) if you can add a horse archer unit in the Romano British rooster

Hi - having a great time with this mod recently. Finished an ERE campaign and struggling through a campaign as the Romano-British. I don't know if you're planning to do any more work on the mod but I had a few campaign level suggestions (leaving aside any balance/units/etc).

In both my campaigns the Vandals & Lombards annihilate all of Europe and the Goths don't do anything. I think all the settled factions could use a rebalance in their existing Horde units (they should start with fewer hordes active).

Perhaps not exactly accurate to 410, I would leave Rome itself rebel, and settle the Goths (Visigoths) in Aquitania. Alternatively, sacked but under WRE control.

This would require adding factions, but splitting Hispania into Vandals / Suebi / Alans would also slow down the snowball in that area. A land bridge at Gibraltar would also give the AI more reason to move from Hispania to Africa.

Some things could be added or changed such as maybe other sects of Christianity and renaming the Berbers into Tamazight names as the Vanilla and in this mod oddly gives them Arabic names before the Rashidun/Umayyad Expansion into North Africa. Possibly also if there's a way to make the AI a bit more aggressive too as the Berbers, Alemanii would tend to stay and hold into their lands than take the opportunity to invade.

Unit wise I hope some of the Germanics gain more infantry and heavy cavalry instead of the Vanilla horse archers. Possibly a revamp of all faction Units.

Some of the roads don't connect such as the one by North East Iberia with the rest.
Great mod, hope it continues to develop out more further.
