Just gonna pretend this is blackthorn or hawthorn in spring.I'm sure the Redwings , Fieldfares and other turdus ssp will play along with it!

Lovely. Your greenery makes the game sing.

Is there any chance you would look at creating a Pyrocantha bush? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyracantha & https://www.hedgesdirect.co.uk/acatalog/Pyracantha-hedge-plants.html

In the autumn (fall) in the UK these hedges brighten urban areas considerably. (Probably as they act as barbed wire too.)

Technically the one planted in among trees in my yard is "Amelanchier canadensis." Many locals also call it Juneberry based upon normal blooming time.

We have a similar tree here in Alberta, Though locally called Saskatoon berry, They grow in clumps of similar height as yours(based on comparisons to house) maybe taller. Also having local names like Pacific service berry being quite common in the PNW. They grow in thicker stands as well. I never seen them used as street trees and they seem to like being in forests and parks. Our version produces quite a large crop of fruit and is popular for foraging

Very common tree in Kentucky. Planted one in my yard years ago. Thanx!

YES!!! Thank you for this. Serviceberry trees are a great native plant that most people aren't even aware of. I have three of them in my yard. They also produce delicious edible berries similar to a blueberry, but the birds usually get to them first.
