But now im confused as to where the new borders of Shek territory extend to.
Hoping for a dynamic map someday
But people have done pretty amazing work before, so if anyone might have an idea on how to do this, I am happy to make more maps for an update.
It's a great suggestion and I really have tried to make it work. I just doubt it can be done

+1 for the suggestion! I second this notion as it seems like something that it sorely needed. Is it possible, though?
There are currently no mods whatsoever for Kenshi in Hearts of Iron IV, so years ago I tried to make one. I feel like there is enough potential/storytelling in the world of Kenshi for an absolutely fantastic mod, something that could be up there with the greats like Kaiserreich, TNO, and Old world Blues.
It could have its own mechanics, like conquering ancient ruin micro-nations for research boosts, weakening empires' armies by taking their farms/mines, or possibly even starting as a 1-man nation and recruiting/building your way to greatness in true Kenshi fashion.
However...I am only one guy and I couldn't make such a mod on my own. I also don't trust myself to lead a modding team. I got as far as making a working world map and some flags...
I hope somebody can make this a reality because the HOI4 workshop 1000% deserves a Kenshi mod. If anyone ever wants to talk about ideas or anything feel free to DM me!
Also, this goes for anyone reading this recently, I don't think I'll be coming back to this mod for a while since I am currently working on something else unrelated to Kenshi
Will let yall know if any progress is made
Maybe someday I will restructure the zones to the names I came up with, that will take a long time though.
- A map key
- The map's creator: an actual character in game who you can find and talk to about the different factions, and general travel tips
- Some map fixes: missing names and microstates
Progress is still slow with the city names
Let me know if there's anything else you guys want me to add :)
