Also is there going to be a BLU variant to this? It'd be silly to have and orange tone to it when on the blue team.

It's gaudy but damn I kinda like it. The colors work really well together and their placements on the weapons seems to really keep one from overwhelming any other while still giving some sense of visual primacy to the twinkling star motif.
