This is really cool! There appears to be a bug when quickloading though, where the elevator doors duplicate and there is an error message "elevator got into an unknown state"

also, another cool idea would be a catch cable that some elevators have. if it begins to fall, a sort of bungee would slow the fall of the elevator, saving the occupants.

this is a fantastic concept! if you added perhaps a cable, and functionality to the bottom 3 buttons this would be even better! keep up the good work.
