It does not conflict, no. You will need a filter block to extract green algae from Earth ice, and red algae from Alien Planet ice. If you don't have access to them (custom world, or too far away right now), you can use the Biolabor block to research and create green algae, and can use that in the Biolabor to make the red algae.

I am currently reworking it a little bit. Some Models, Icons are getting a rework, and the translation will be changed on steam by adding a script, so the names wont get a reset after reload

I changed it to have the option to research it, because not everyone is playing with the vanilla planets. And this way every player has the option to get the H2 Algae

Also this is just an opinion, but perhaps make the H2 algae require Alien Ice for all recipes to incentivize players to travel over there for free H2. Just an idea

Two things i've found: 1. the Bio Lab is misspelled "Bio Labor" 2.The algae farm display name is broken and has some of the .sbc data in the block name after its placed. Fantastic mod, just wanted to let you know what I ran into

Check the order that you have the mods installed. Mods load from bottom up in PC. So this should be above Plant and Cook, which should be above Eat, Drink, Sleep, Repeat. If you already have them in that order, then hopefully the mod author might have another idea.

I can't produce roast meat from algae meat, which stops me from using it in the recipes in the Plant and Cook mod. Is that something you could fix?

There are small grid oxygen and hydrogen generators. Most of the others are limited to large grid.

the problem is when I add that and players arent using the ares at war mod, this will cause some issues with materials not found. And some servers have problems with this

I love this mod. The models are so nice and the aesthetics fit perfectly!

I was reading through the comments and I was very pleased to learn you are considering adding an automated biolab.
And since I love building in small grid, I have a few humble request:
- could you please also add a small grid version of the automated biolab when it comes?
- could you please also add a small grid version of the water filter?
- could you please also add a small grid version of the composter?

Anyway, I hope you can consider this. I really appreciate all the work you've done so far!

The ice on the ground became similar to the ice in Europe.

they need the same enviromental conditions as the vanilla oxygenfarm and solar panel, so direct los to sunlight with nothing in the way.

Understood. I usually just run on default, and rarely have problems... unless I forget to turn off the conveyor. Almost lost every edible food item from Plant and Cook with that accident. XD

i play nowadays usually with an x1 inventory/speed/efficiency and in that case the composter can only take 500 algae into it to compost them which just takes a around 1-2 minutes.
if i then go and combine algae into the algae packs i need 1 composter/production of packs to keep up with demand.
ddont know how its on different settings but i usually have a composter eating away all my algae or needing a visit once every 1-2 minutes juts for refilling if not allowed to use the conveyor system.
so far i also didnt found an inventory management script or a workign way via sorters to avoid this.
atm i only use it for the h2 and o2 farms, no foor or fuel mod in use.

@Abisus - If you just need the organics for food and/or algae growing, I tend to just handle it manually. I either keep the composter off, and have "use conveyors" turned off in its settings, or don't even connect it to the conveyor network. However, if you used it to make organics for bio-fuel, I can definitely see needs for more control like you're suggesting.

I was looking through the code, so that I could potentially add new items to the Plant and Cook & Algaetechnology materials, and I found a beautifully done model of a BioGas Generator. Is there any plans to complete this model and have it as part of the mod in the near future?

alredy did try it with the event controller variant but either i did something wrong or it isnt working as intended cause it still did compost all algae on the grid leaving the algae farms without algae to work with.

as a sidenote:

Place a cargo container - add a sorter to sort in all algae
Place a event controller - select "check inventory fillrate" and select that container
Set your value to the amount of algues you want to keep
Set event controllers action -> Disable Composter

Done
