such clever and idea mod i have never seen before but it's awesome.
I am slow with updates
I'm generally always hesitant to release my work publicly and I realized quickly with this mod that not everybody will want everything I have on offer in one mod. So, my recent "Kill Jimmy Gibbs" mod separates 1 simple thing into a 1 separate addon, so I'll probably continue doing separate addons -- reserving this alternative finale addon as an extended collection of them all.
Also, this addon's script is very inefficient to work with, or add new stuff to it. This will be re-done in the future with lump files.
It's Jimmy Gibbs Jr.'s car, but it's the Survivor's ride. Otherwise, we may be at an impasse here without room for compromise.
Thanks for the console output, that's super helpful and I'll work on it!
The script ran but failed as early as it could have in terms of I/O, so it wasn't only Jimmy that failed to spawn. Has it ever worked with your setup?
I'm sure a re-write will help after I get the the whole sequence blocked out, so not all is lost. All that's supported right now would be the base game modes with the VPK -- not sure what would happen if played with Mutations (i.e. RocketDude) or if thrown onto an actual SourceMod server.

These errors are appearing on console and after this error appear the jimmy gibbs wont spawn and the finale will get stuck..
Feel free to send me a friend request to discuss the idea, or post to the request thread so others can take a look at it. I'm careful to not make any promises, but I agree -- L4D2 leaves a lot of room for alternative events, no matter how weird. The fact Coach says, "Ellis, is that you?" when ridden by a Jockey shows how lighthearted this game wants to be.
You're coming back to bring more life to your history, yet you already made a noticeable mark in it.
Btw the administrator in ComboMod is named "British Wanker" lmao.
Actually made me snort.
Edit: Hey Tsuey, I had a mod idea that I always wanted added to the workshop but no one has made (or seems interested in making). You seem very proficient with the games modding tools, would you be willing to hear out my idea? Please let me know, Thank you for your time.
Yeah but only right at this moment, as this mod will be a work in progress for years.
Just getting Jimmy Gibbs done first -- in a future version you'll escape on the little trolley after the 2nd song.
Feedback is welcome so if my plans sound like they're going to miss the mark, let me know!
@Flaky,
Thanks for your understanding -- it should actually advance now. See "Change Notes"... a lot of work left to do with the disco / fireworks show etc., but it can at least be played.
It was originally made with Stripper:Source, yeah. But I lost most of that work in a hard drive crash a decade ago
Also: It should work in Single Player, I'll be spending tonight patching some brokenness. LotusMaze's post to Reddit forced me to post this without much time for review.
Appreciate everyone's understanding that this was, in fact, shipped broken!
