As for the flaps, if you think a lever would be more appropriate I can try that.
I think the original reason I went with the buttons was the flaps had set positions rather fluid movement throughout their range, the buttons are smaller, and easier to use 'on the fly' (so to speak).
But I can give it a try, this aircraft is in desperate need of an upgrade after the pressure updates anyway.

AMAZING as someone who fly s the pa-28 this is a great remake however missed the trim wheel between the seats and could try (i know its easier said then done) but make the flaps lever rather than button arrows

Havoc_Hawk, if you open it in the editor and "poke around" you can see how the shapes slide into place once the aircraft is spawned. Hope that helps, and good luck with your build!

victrooQc, the gear on the PA-24's are fixed, you might be mistaking it with the Piper Arrow. Sorry to disappoint.

but as a piper cherokee pilot, i am pleased that it is very realistic! especially the window vent thing on the left window, i really didn't think anyone would get that down

ive flown a piper cherokee and it was alot of fun and im very happy to be able to fly it in stormworks

lizard, that is a weird one I tried testing it with 'infinite electricity' off, and in a low physics setting; all seemed to work fine. I'm not sure exactly whats wrong, can you be more specific as to the start-up process you are following?

LOL as someone who has flown this aircraft multiple times irl, this is absolutely accurate down to the latch on the top of the door, which I had forgotten and thought it was broken until I remembered the latch on top of the door.

HES_1_SHOT_NO_IM_DEAD!, I'll be honest. I've always been a big Beechcraft fan. This PA28 actually started life as a Bonanza. However, the Plexiglas windshield on the Bonanza (or Baron) was the single biggest reason it became a Piper instead. I'll give is a try someday, I have many other projects I'd like to knock out first. Thanks for the idea and the nice comment!

daphne.g.green, You might be confusing the Piper Cherokee with the Piper Arrow, while they look similar, the Cherokee has fixed landing gear, whereas the Arrow's are retractable. Hope that helps!

Was very impressed with the detail! I fly Piper Archers (PA-28-181) at my flight school and i jokingly did a pre-flight and was very surprised to see the fuel sumps and antenna where the needed to be! Great work!
