I think this mod might be irrelevant now. But it was helpful while it was relevant.

If the floor has a Curse the mod fails to spawn an item.

Also, did that patch REALLY make it so I can't use my MOST USED mods?!?!
I don't use gameplay changing mods, but I DO use OST replacements, funny sound mods occasionally, and LOTS of resprites, including for various items.

Wow, makes it nearly UNPLAYABLE for me.
Hopefully this gets dealt with soon so I can still do the knife chase with my mods...

It crashes for me when I ENTER the area, not starting the chase...

Also glad this doesn't just hand the first knife piece to you, can still do that one and I like having a reason to attempt the reflected boss.

Yo, on a chromebook which crashes upon going through the door in the minecart thanks so much! The only other mod that does this has the knife on the first room afterwards and I can't even get to that.

I've been testing as to what actually causes the problem, and so far I've come short. Validating my files seems to have done the trick. It doesn't seem my mods are causing issues. Maybe there's something else going on that I'm not thinking about

That's not the same @alice . That mod adds custom rooms and currently you can only have one mod that does that due to current API limitations.

i have over 100 mods and tried to go to mother and it crashed (big sad), then with no mods and it crashed (bigger sad) but im going to hope this works

I was running 5 mods. That includes external item mods and your boss item bars mod. One of them is mod menu, pog for good items, and that lego studs coins mod.

I had a crash with both Eve and Tainted Cain upon attempting to enter the area. Reloading the game and trying again would just crash the game again.

Kilburn did say that from now on there will be more frequent and smaller patches, so you don't have to wait another 6 months, don't worry.

Also I did a Mother run yesterday and had no problems with acquiring the second knife piece. Maybe it has to do something with the layouts?
