Goes this work with AGOT?

Do you mind sending how to install it manually I have tried and I just dont understand. I put the files in mod folder and its still not working. Thanks for your HELP!

Yup using a custom title as a nomad prevents migration as it causes instant game over
Skatelord141 6 May @ 11:16am
Don't know if it's only me, but changing my title and then migrating as a nomad makes me instantly game over. If I reload before renaming my title I can still migrate as usual.

@Ziz For CK3 v1.15 you can download the old version 0.3.17 [github.com] (mod files themselves are inside mod/ folder in the downloaded archive). You'll have to install it manually [ck3.paradoxwikis.com] though, and make sure to unsubscribe from the current version so they don't conflict.

mod update breaks 1.15 game version saves by CV_TAB_SUBJECTS, on every character that has vassals :( overlaying it on the other tabs like families. Gonna have to use an older version to make it compatible or just not use. Thanks for all your hard work Terra!
TerraPass  [author] 3 May @ 12:53pm
Should work with CK3 v1.16 now.
Lyzore 2 May @ 3:37pm
Thanks for at least clarifying about EK2. Appreciate it.
Sina 1 May @ 11:54am
Thanks for your time. Please update this. 1.16.0.1
Tora 30 Apr @ 6:36am
Take your time!
TerraPass  [author] 30 Apr @ 6:21am
The mod hasn't been updated for the new CK3 version 1.16 yet.
I will likely have time to patch it during the weekend.
adamrhawkins 29 Apr @ 6:58pm
Since the release of 1.16. Took a while to narrow it down but this MOD was causing the vassal page to overlap the family page where you cant interact with family.
hamletsdead 29 Apr @ 5:42pm
Is this working with 1.16? Character UI Overhaul and the CUI patch for this mod both updated today for 1.16, so I assuuuume it works, but you know what they say about assuming anything.
Tora 28 Apr @ 5:38pm
This breaks some parts of the HUD as of the current version.
TerraPass  [author] 26 Apr @ 12:53pm
@1LividGal No, the mod isn't bugged and should work fine, provided you're running it on CK3 version 1.15.* (Crown).

Note however, that FoA customization is only available for landed rulers, so the button will currently not appear for landless adventurers. This is expected behavior.

If you're playing as a landed ruler but still not seeing the button, try the usual troubleshooting steps for any mod:
1. Verify game files via Steam
2. Unsubscribe from the mod, wait a minute, then resubscribe, let it download and re-add it to your playset via PDX launcher.
TerraPass  [author] 26 Apr @ 12:44pm
@Amun-Ra Thank you very much! :steamhappy: I've added links to your compatches to this mod's description.
1LividGal 24 Apr @ 9:44pm
So, I've been trying to get this mod to work for an hour now but it doesn't seem to want to. I start a new game and the button isn't there. I've removed all other mods as well and it's still not there meaning there isn't any conflicts with other mods. Do I need to change something in the settings or is the mod just bugged right now? Thanks!
Drago Museveni 24 Apr @ 9:06am
@TerraPass

I have been maintaining a series of compatches for CTFA if you were interested in adding them to your description

@DarkSition The button itself is only one of several GUI modifications that this mod needs to make in character and title windows. So replacing the button with a character interaction, like you suggest, would still leave other customizations behind and so wouldn't prevent GUI compatibility issues.
DarkSition 20 Apr @ 11:27am
@Terrapass
Is it necessary to make a separate button to change the title form? Is it possible to arrange it like in the same Custom nickname, interacting directly with the character? Then there will be fewer problems with compach. And so that it doesn't loom constantly, you can disable the ability to interact with a separate interaction on the player's character, like in AGOT Dragon Hunter or through a separate solution. (translated into English by Google translation)
TerraPass  [author] 20 Apr @ 9:55am
As a quick and dirty workaround for EK2 specifically, looking at their code, I think you can pretty safely remove their version of gui/window_title.gui from their mod's folder - they appear to have made only a single cosmetic modification to it, so nothing should happen, aside from potential minor GUI gore in that window.

Assuming you're not running any other mods modifying window_title.gui, this will allow you to see this mod's "Edit FoA" button in the title window for your primary title - it has exactly the same functionality as the one in the character window.
TerraPass  [author] 20 Apr @ 9:53am
Like many other TCs, EK2 makes some customizations directly inside window_character.gui, instead of extracting all of them into types/templates defined in separate files. Without getting too deep into the weeds, this basically means any other mods modifying the same file can only be made compatible with that TC via a separate compatch mod.

Making and maintaining a separate compatch for each TC is a time commitment that I'm not willing to take on. Anyone who enjoys a particular TC and is familiar with basic CK3 modding is welcome to publish their own compatch between said TC and this mod. And I will be more than happy to promote any such compatches on this Workshop page.

Alternatively, one could convince a TC to insert compatibility hooks for this mod directly into their GUI code - this is expressly supported by this mod's consistent use of GUI types/templates and would nullify the need for a separate compatch. But this obviously requires cooperation from the TC side.

Please fix for Elder Kings 2 if possible. Pretty Please. I beg.
MangoCobra 17 Apr @ 7:06pm
This has some minor incompatibility with Elder Kings 2 - it blocks out the little mana bar / arcana stat they have. Can you please make a patch for it?
Konstable 9 Apr @ 8:42am
Any way to make this compatible with After The End?
LOSO 8 Apr @ 4:43am
Can this be made to work for landless adventurers too?
Nathan 3 Apr @ 1:49pm
Is there a way to rename what princes and princesses are called?
TerraPass  [author] 31 Mar @ 2:24pm
Not necessarily only prescripted ones. Forms of address (also governed by flavorization) are likewise not normally customizable, but when making this mod I did basically make them editable via an in-game textbox. This was done using fake titles, but nowadays there are more exquisite workarounds for text entry known to the modding community. I imagine one of them could be used to make title prefixes customizable as well.

But yes, one would have to make such a mod themselves (or maybe commission it from someone) to gain access to such a feature. I'm not aware of an existing mod for that.
Anti4iteR 30 Mar @ 11:02pm
@MrGingeer78
Prefixes bounded to flavorization and customizable_localization.
It can be possible to make a mod binded to character_flags, which used customizable_localization to change prefix-title (or/and holder) names, but only to prescripted ones, but not to any of you want
TerraPass  [author] 30 Mar @ 2:36pm
@MrGingeer78 Not to my knowledge.
𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥 30 Mar @ 11:46am
@Terrapass
Is there any way to change the prefix (Duchy of) without entering a Short Name, so that the title is simply changed and you don't have to enter the full name?
TerraPass  [author] 20 Mar @ 11:24am
@tr4ktor Theoretically - yes, but it'd require making a separate compatch, ironically.

@NorscanWarlord No, unfortunately it doesn't.

@Bipedleek I suggest using the vanilla "Short Name" checkbox in title customization window to remove the "Duchy of" prefix entirely and rename your title to "<Whatever> Principality" (or similar) instead.
TerraPass  [author] 20 Mar @ 11:21am
Updated for CK3 v1.15 (Crown). Enjoy!
Konstable 19 Mar @ 3:34am
Please update!
Bipedleek 17 Mar @ 6:08pm
Does anyone know if theres a way to change the title to fit with the custom form of address? Ie it feels weird to be a prince of a duchy
SalahadDin 15 Mar @ 8:46pm
I love this mod so much, please update, thanks
NorscanWarlord 12 Mar @ 4:57pm
Does it work on Adventurer titles? i'd like to be a Warlord and not a Captain when playing as a Norse character
tr4ktor 1 Mar @ 5:03am
Hi, is there any way to make this compatible with personage?

@SilverSaruTrue @reulov the DEUS. Sorry, new savegames only.

The mod relies on static titles, which the game only adds to new savegames, not if the mod is loaded mid-playtrhough. It might be possible to manually edit a save file and insert the necessary titles and variables there (or copy them from a new savegame created with the mod active), but I haven't experimented with it myself, so can offer no guidance there, let alone promise such a modification would even work.
TerraPass  [author] 5 Feb @ 12:18pm
@Intrepid_Kavalye No, I haven't considered making any compatches, as maintaining them in addition to the main mod is not something I have time for.

Having said that, I designed the mod in a way that allows it to be integrated into a bigger mod by inserting several GUI hooks for it into another mod's GUI files (via the types and templates mechanism described in the CK3 wiki [ck3.paradoxwikis.com]), which would simplify things for a member of a TC team adding direct support, or for an interested thirdparty modder making a compatch between this mod and a TC.

hello ! is there any way to use this in my acutal save game ? i'ts kind of a big one and don't want to start again just for a mod but in the same time that's quite the one I need. is there like something to bypass mb ? thx o/
SilverSaruTrue 31 Jan @ 12:11pm
Hi, is there a way to make it work for an existing savegames? I really need it
Intrepid_Kavalye 13 Dec, 2024 @ 7:47pm
Have you considered making a compatch of this mod for the After the End TC? I believe it would have to be run for version 1.12.5.
EtlajhTB 13 Dec, 2024 @ 12:28pm
This makes larp much easier, thank you!
Cynthwayve 10 Dec, 2024 @ 4:06am
Finally I can create a principality
TerraPass  [author] 4 Dec, 2024 @ 8:21am
@Sina Make sure you're not running conflicting mods (particularly ones that also modify window_character.gui), and try moving this mod to the end of your playset. Also note that the button only appears for landed rulers, and is not available for adventurers.

@ꍟꂵꉣꍟꋪꂦꋪ Compatibility with total conversions including TFE is not guaranteed. If you are loading the mod before TFE in your playset, you can try moving it below TFE, but that'll overwrite TFE's own customizations to various windows. Full compatibility would require someone to make a separate TFE compatch.
Sina 4 Dec, 2024 @ 7:18am
It doesn't work!
I started a new game but the Form of Address button is missing!!!
ꍟꂵꉣꍟꋪꂦꋪ 3 Dec, 2024 @ 1:50pm
Broken with TFE
TerraPass  [author] 19 Nov, 2024 @ 3:15am
@Tig Biddies Not aside from switching to them, tweaking their title, and then switching back to your character. (Not an option in Ironman or for non-playable rulers ofc.)
Tig Biddies 18 Nov, 2024 @ 7:03pm
Is there any way to tweak the titles of non vassals?
