Thanks Dragon! I really enjoy playing with the remote controlled vehicles while I'm making the long trek up north.

@bjaebjoch - Sorry for being a bit late, I'll have a look sometime now that I'm getting some home time for a change. If the consist motors switch is turned on in the locomotive, then the carriage motor switch on the carriage itself should be off. I'll update again when fixed.

There also appears to be a problem with the locomotive horn getting stuck on so, I have to look into that as well.

Hi Dragon. Very much enjoying your work. I believe I'm having the same issue with the motors that Cooked Rat mentioned. It's only when the carriage is not connected, and it's because you're multiplying composite channel 2 from the connectors with the keypad input. When it's not connected that channel is passing 0 so the throttle is always 0, regardless of the keypad. I added some simple logic to check for this condition and multiply with 1 instead, so you get the true value of the keypad when the connector is disconnected. I've only looked at the two command carriages so far, but both used the same "Carriage Controller In" microcontroller so they were both affected by this issue.

@gs1055 - The carriage receives the data from the first or nearest locomotive if both are transmitting, you actually only have to turn on the transmit radio on the primary locomotive. It only receives data for one locomotive at a time.

You can still set a different frequency for the secondary locomotive so you can still tune in to it whenever needed.

By different frequency do you mean none are the same command takes any number or for example locomotive 1 has #1,2 and locomotive 2 has #1,2 also and the carriage receives the 1 and 2

@cooked rat - Is it the same on other carriages? What was the throttle percentage set at?

Sometimes if the locomotive is up to speed and it throttles back, the power going to the motors on the carriages can be barely noticeable. But I'll have another look anyway.

Throttle input comes from the locomotive through the connectors, composite channel 2.

Note that I may have limited internet access for a few days. Please excuse if I don't update or reply immediately.
