Ah, I see. An unfortunate mechanical limitation!

Ah yeah. Dyes use a RGB value, the material of the hat uses that as well. Outfits do not have that value, so the hat remains black. That is just how dyeability works at this point.

Okay, found a minor glitch - when using no dye/outfit, the dyeable hats have all-black textures instead of the default. Might be related to how the Nordic hat has no stripes when dyed? Idk. No biggie, though, who even uses the default Hat Kid look any more? :V

It's working now! I love how they all have little sparkles in the menu. :) My only sadness now is that the Bobble Hat doesn't actually bobble, lol. (I get that adding physics is hard, though, so no worries!)

Okay, so if I install the workshop version of this here myself, it happens to me as well, hm. That's what I meant with "modclasses tend to break for me". I will try to fix that, and activate the roulette.

Nope, still didn't show up. I also tried unsubscribing, doing a level so the change was saved, and resubscribing, to no effect.
I do have a lot of mods installed, but I've never had this issue before. I had a look through the launch log to see if I could find anything, but there weren't any loading errors associated with this mod. Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned lot of mods, I can't feasibly try uninstalling them one by one to see if any are causing the issue.
I can provide my Launch_2.log and/or mods list, if you're interested, but honestly I wouldn't blame you if you weren't. :P I can just skip on this mod.

Try starting another save file and check if the Hero-Headset is there already, as you start off.

Yes, I have everything from vanilla and the DLC unlocked.

Odd. The hats works for myself, and every other one that talked to me in private, or in the game.
Since it is only happening for the few of you, it might actually be something on your side.
You do have the original hats unlocked, don't you? (Sprint Hat, Brewing Hat etc.)

Yeah. Maybe save the tokens for other mods then.
It's better to instantly have the hats in my opinion as well though.
So it works like that now.

Why would someone ask for no roulette?? I have so many rift tokens for it, it can't be that hard to get enough for mod hats!

Modclassed tend to break for my workshop versions recently, I could try to add that funcionality, but it might just break at some point. I will add that today though.

Please, no more roulette. Add them instantly.
