-Arma AI is tough but at the end 2 VTOL just hit each other, good thing u set their damage off
now i gotta watch the show hehehe
Thanks for playing, sorry to hear you ran into a bug there. I tried testing it on my machine just now and was not able to recreate this issue. Only thing I could suggest is to try to restart, or also to try pressing the "T" key if LMB doesn't work.
but when the daylight "locate hezbollah security officer" task popped up, i aimed the spotting scope crosshair at the security officer and his goon beside the gas pump and clicked lmb multiple times as the task requires.
and nothing happened, after waiting half a hour and a bathroom break, still nothing happened, i finally lost patience and just opened fire....................
Are you able to select him using Team Switch? Does he respond to input? What is he doing - still in the "chillin'" pose, or something else?
QRF was spot on, inserting in force from multiple directions. They made a difference and helped me fight off pursuing enemies. Very good, prevents "6 men vs the whole world" feeling. No vtol landed though so the mission couldn't end, not a big deal.
Ahh, now that I read your AAR a little more closely there. Definitely be sure to bring the pain to the enemy QRF, the Marine QRF consists of the Huey, the AH, and two Ospreys, which should eventually land, one spews grunts to help draw fire off your team, the other will land at the extraction point where you task directs you to. Once all Bravo elements are aboard, the Marines will mount back up, the Ospreys will take off, Havoc will send his appraisal of your performance and the mission will end. If the QRF or evac Osprey crashes (rare, but possible), or if it's too hairy to land and they just keep circling, try reverting and just wrecking as many bad guys as you can without getting someone killed, which will fail the mission.
Thrilled to hear from a few folks that the two big shitty bugs are squashed and players can enjoy the game a little more easily. Still got some things to fix. When you finished the mission, all six Bravo elements should be aboard the extract Osprey, and Havoc should either commend you for completing the primary objective or berate you for failing it. The mission should then end after about 30 seconds. Did you get this message from Bravo?
Thanks for playing and for leaving some feedback. Sorry to hear you ran into bugs with those two units, I haven't been able to re-create it on my machine but I've heard some folks report it. Will look into this and try to fix it. As for the move from OP1 to OP2, it is extremely easy to get spotted as you are moving up to 6 guys in broad daylight. There are spotters on the Afghan side where you are, and the HVT's advance security is watching the hills you're moving through. I'd suggest taking just Bravo 1 and Bravo 2, either swing high up into the mountains or carefully eliminate the spotters.
Hm, I haven't run into that issue myself before. Sometimes I've found unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the scenario can work. Also, make sure you have all the required addons, no additional ones, just to be sure it's not a conflict or missing addon. Hope it works out so you can play it.
@BaraBoom 1MB
its a 1GB or 1MB
Thanks for attempting to run the mission and for taking the time to share what happened. Sorry to hear you have been running into difficulties with it. Still investigating for a fix to the Show/Hide issue, will comment here if/when there's a fix. As for the other issue with not being able to start without all members, I can look into it but my knowledge on editing for play on dedicated servers is extremely limited. If anyone else knows what is going on and can suggest a fix I will look into applying it. TBH this is a singleplayer mission first made friendly for co-op, but I want groups to be able to access it too.
This is likely due to the Arma Show/Hide module not working properly - see known issues - did you save and revert? If so, it may cause some elements to not show. Try restarting and avoid saving or reverting.
