just added a bunch of your mods! I love that they're lightweight, make sense, and simplify things about rimworld that can end up tedious rather than a fun challenge. you're definitely one of my favorite mod makers now. hope you keep having (and posting) good ideas!

@x3nit in which xml file is the conversion speed in?
I found the reaction to conversion attempts in both of the social xmls but not a number that seems to effect power

This is exactly what I was looking for. The other option was the notification mod, but that is really just making me micromanage it when really i want the pawn powers to be tough.

Like I understand it but converting pawns is a huge pain when what you are really trying to do is have a "themed" playthrough, and every single new pawn has this overhead of not being the theme.

For the people asking about a slider, you can edit the multiplier by yourself by editing the xml.

Personal Opinion, but having a conversion multiplier of something like x3 instead of x8 would be more realistic. However, having that same x3 multiplier applying when converting prisoners would be awesome.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I even considered stop using Ideology (before the last update) because it was just too annoying to have to convert new recruits to our ideology all the time. This should solve the problem, thank you!

Anyone wondering how to change the multiplier just open this mod folder
example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2657451776\
Open the Patches folder and open the patches.xml using your favorite text opener.
and search <convertPowerFactor>8</convertPowerFactor>
then change it to the multiplier number you wanted and save the changes.

The vanilla rate is totally worthless and very unbalanced but I agree with the others here that 8x is maybe a bit too much, I'd personally like to see about 5x so it's still quite a bit faster but not an instant convert.

I think x4 would be good. At least that way you get forward progression and not literally worthless. but x8 seems a bit overkill. Still should be a process, cause getting someone to change their beliefs can be VERY difficult. But in game terms, it should at least be possible with the vanilla methods.

@NRFBToyStore I had the exact same issue that you're describing. Turned out that it was a mod issue. I forgot which one it was but t had something to do with bionics/implants. hope that helps

Ever sense I got the Ideology DLC, all the ACTIONS from my leader get stuck on loop. Like when he CONVERTS, I have to draft him, draft other guy, sit them next to each other, and then convert or console or whatever button... And then he does it nonstop, every 3 seconds he'll do the action again until I STOP it, THEN, it'll but a cooldown.

NO CLUE what mod...and I don't care enough to sift it out. Just curious, anyone else get the "attack loop" of Idealogy abilities too?

Honestly, I set up a Skaven colony with The Horned Rat as their god. Then a stupid split occurs like 4 times and now i got all kinds of religions and EXTREMELY unhappy folks in the colony with dumb ideals and whatnot.

Got myself some mods to help prevent the splits, but i already have so many folks with different religions, I kinda gave up on converting them.

Atleast, until i got the propaganda mod with those statues that slowly convert folks, and this one should help make it more direct.

I used to collect prisoners and convert them before bothering to recruit...but them being in prison for so long gives way to lots of prison breaks, and most of my prisoners have fantasy classes from A Rimworld Of Magic.

Long story short this mod will help a ton.
