For anyone who wants to use it right now, you have two options:
Just run it: You can simply activate the mod as is. It should work fine without any errors, but you will see the yellow "incompatible version" warning icon.
Remove the warning: If the warning icon bothers you, you can navigate to the mod's About folder, open About.xml with a text editor, and add
1.6
under the existing version list.
Of course, this is all based on my personal testing and is just a temporary solution. I'm definitely looking forward to the official 1.6 update from you, the author!
Thanks again for your fantastic work.XD
@TheOneTrueDemoknight
Even if this mod does seem to work with 1.6, could we please get an official 1.6 update?
so doesnt the author just have to update it so mod organisers recognise it as 1.6 compat?
i mean Alpha compatibility :3
(all jokes aside it still works thank you :3)
NOW!!

I noticed that Nociosphere was also affected. I inflicted 20,000 points of damage on it but it still didn't die. Although I'm not sure if it's caused by this mod, I don't think I have any other mods with similar effects.
Centepedes are nto tanky anymore and dying for no reason

Speaking of which; this mod is awesome.
It makes mechanoids pretty tough to deal with, especially since they're painless and don't bleed and so are very difficult to down, you need to actually destroy the bodyparts associated with either movement and then use finishing off, or destroy the bodyparts associated with not being dead.
So, it's not interacting negatively at all with the new crawling mechanic?
If this mod didn't work, I would have just stopped playing altogether.
This mod has become MANDATORY for me.
No problems.
The 'death on downed' chance causes enemies to instadie when they fall over for any reason, making it much harder to collect prisoners. It's part of vanilla difficulty settings. You can turn it of by customizing the storyteller. Look for 'death on downed' and set it to 0% to get rid of it.
