Shame this could only be done the complicated way where you need to download stuff, rather than just uploading it to gamebanana or something and replacing the files in the game.

If you don't want to replace any original files, you could instead extract them to Left 4 Dead 2\update\media, which l4d2 will read from instead of the original files without overwriting. Makes uninstalling really easy.

If you forgot to backup the original files, just delete the background files, and verify integrity of game files.

If you have the backup files, just replace the 5 background files with the OG's

I just figured out just to delete or remove those from the correspondent folder l4d2_c1_pc.mp3, l4d2_c2_pc.mp3, l4d2_c3_pc.mp3, l4d2_c4_pc.mp3, l4d2_c5_pc.mp3 will work as well.

It’s possible to replace the loading screen images, but sadly I don’t think you can replace the loading screen with an mp4 file, cause the loading screen images are a different type of file. Might give it a try though.
