it might as well mess up the hitboxes
A red spy, disguised as a blu spy, disguised as a pyro.
Currently You can't. but vote (Yes/No) for this taunt can be add in future update
The hitboxes can be a problem though
So my question is if I were to back up against a wall, and use this taunt, would the model just clip through the wall as Spy falls on his back, resulting in the entirety of my player model being a pair of feet sticking out of a wall? Again, I understand the hitbox itself is still there to shoot at, but if the actual character model is completely hidden then you're effectively just invisible with a 3rd person camera.
If this taunt would be added... The hitreg would be likely saying... "Standing spy" while himself is lying on the ground. So basically yeah... Don't try to believe this would work.
Again, people –to this day– still fall for the Boxtrot.
This taunt would work in the same fashion, but moreso as a funnier dead-ringer.
And that's great!
Spy does not have a lot of options when it comes to tricking his enemies, so I would wholeheartedly welcome this as part of his kit.
This is a fantastic taunt idea, and you're doing great
Some other displaced taunts can do this, like Pyro's Balloonibouncer.
A change I'd recommend is for Spy to fall in place. Maybe he walks forward and then falls backwards, so that his body isn't completely displaced from where he was originally standing before taunting.
