You must download gcfscape and find the following file
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop2660303888. VPK and open it using gcfscape
Replace
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2
CFG and resource files in this path

The glow of weapons and more is enabled still, solution?
I clarify that I played the Dead Center campaign to test the script, could it be that this script does not run in that campaign at all because it is a tutorial-style campaign for the second game?
