The claw holes don't seem to work, I have the ruby one and it won't go into any of them.
Axxikon 24 Mar, 2017 @ 10:00pm
Also, is there a point for the skulls? Or are they just there to look cool?

THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING MOD I'VE EVER DOWNLOADED. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH :steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy::steamhappy:

In fact just as an experiment I disabled ALL other mods, ONLY running solace mod and it still crashes. Anyone have any ideas?
Zaxius 5 Jul, 2016 @ 11:10pm
Does it have any particular load order requirement or DLC requirements? Because when I try to load it Skyrim crashes before load screen. Im not using nexus mod manager so not sure of it's masters. Can someone please help? Thanks

Lovely place, so many beautiful places, items, rooms, and much more. The gardens are perfect! I would love to have this as my permanent home. However, I have a few odd things happening. The character Sarl has her feet melting into the terrain, she twitches and gets stuck easily. Another guard kinda turned rabid, yelling & screaming at everyone & I had to help her move on to another 'place'. In the upstairs area, I know that manikins can move (when there are a lot together), but I can't see which one is causing the problem, because it's invisible, (just the sound of one tapping along, it sounds like it's chasing me ~ lol). In the lower armory rooms, the manikins all dance around. In the Armory Extension, the walls disappear (here & there) and where this happens, I see a blue background with falling swords & shields, disappearing into nothingness. I don't have any mods near this area. Any ideas?

Amazing mod. I'm going to use it from here on out for me and my two daughters! Lots of staff and banter, high walls (it's a dangerous world out there!), plenty of room but very very little zoning (yes!), amazing views and that garden is freakin unreal! The tavern is a great touch, a place for my followers and I to hang out. The house, which is really a mini castle, is just right. Enough bookcases to be useful and yet you aren't stuck staring at a bookless library the size of Parliament. Big armory, and nice crafting areas with generous stock of supplies! Thanks for that! Good location, too. Close enough for the girls to go to a good liberal arts college in Solitude when they're older, and plenty of guards and house staff to keep them safe in the meantime while I'm off slaying dragons and bandits. Love your work, thanks for building such a great home. The only thing that's off is the cobweb on the main level near the dining area and stairs, at the ceiling. Any way to remove that bit?

incredible mod G20 when i first saw this mod i could not belive my eyes the details looks like a japanesse theme
dave_sko 21 Feb, 2015 @ 7:00am
Hey G20! This is by far my favorite mod and I've already lauded you previously. I was wondering if it is possible to make a display for the Dragonborn Dragon Priest Masks like there is for the vanilla version Dragon Priests? Wouldn't that be a spectacular addition? It occurs to me though, that it might have to be crafted out of whole cloth. Is that within your abilities and expertise?

Thanks :)
I thought the spit in the kitchen was usable, yes it is ;) and of corse the oven is :)
jantz_j 22 Jan, 2015 @ 9:49pm
Really nice mod. I really like where it is. Just one problem...no place to cook in the kitchen. Proudspire in solatude had the same problem. Just need a cooking pot and it will be perfect. Thanks for a very well made mod.

I like the house alot, but there is alot of work that needs to be done when it comes to the lighting in the armory.

Skulls displayed (I can be slow at times 1500hrs of Skyrim still learning) thanks for the hint, they would also make great book ends for great tomes the skulls of famous histiric figures or of Authors, Skyrim mannequins still don't behave but I will survive, Dragon claw display likes the ivory claw, turns & gives it back while not acknowledging the other claws, no problem as you placed 2 chests close by placed extra masks in 1 & claws in other. The librian buys items, but does not pay, but others buying /selling are more than enough. Lastly the garden door still leaves me standing (n/e corner opposite the ancient elf statues right elbow) If it opens to part of solace i have not seen then would like to see, but if leading to places already accessable by other doors no problem. I just appreciate what you have done for myself & so many others. You are the first person i have contacted in the steam so i will now drift back into the mists thank you G20, Jaded Dragon
G20  [author] 16 Jun, 2014 @ 4:11pm
Hi 8jaderagons
You can display the skulls using the mod unlimited bookshelves ;) there's a link in the description in 'Unique skulls of skyrim'.
Usually the mannequins in the game can be used like trunks, you put the garb you want them to wear on last..
The door in the garden does work, go in and out of another door and try again, though you probably have by now :)
8jadedragons 14 Jun, 2014 @ 11:28am
ps I ment display of skulls in Solace. Well I'm of back to Skyrim..
8jadedragons 14 Jun, 2014 @ 11:17am
Love the home and then in the immortal lines "just one small thing" small door in the garden opens & closes but nothing else happens I remain in the garden? Skulls are great art would love to display them..! Now I am thinking aloud would it not be great if mannikins act as chests a mannikin displaying glass armour would hold all your glass armour etc...! I tried doing it & they spit the dummy & stop displaying any thing... (any mannikin anywhere in skyrim).. Once again I appreciate your craftmanship & kindness in sharing
Cuban Pete 10 Jun, 2014 @ 11:45pm
I really like the style and conceptualization you've put into this player home, however in the future you may want to prioritize the size of the home. I'm all for huge castles but make sure to also add a lot of visuals and style. I noticed the wall full of shields and thought that could have been diversified by including some banners, weapons racks and what nought. But then again you have an unusual amount of display cases, weapons racks and, armour stands. I did enjoy your idea for holding all the talons and masks on their own little slots. All in all great house but just remember that a good house modder doesn't have to fill his home to the brim. I do recognize that this house was centeralized around the storage of other modded items which may have called for a large amount of everything. Cheers.
Angeleyes2014 10 Jun, 2014 @ 8:05pm
i just "discovered" the home....is there anything special I have to do to make it my home, like a quest or a note I have to find or can i just start displaying stuff and call it home? Great Mod btw the place is gorgeous
Darin R 8 Jun, 2014 @ 6:10pm
Thanks to you i have all but abandoned all of my other homes! This home is perfection. Thank you for this, your hard work has shown!
Kochuro 8 Jun, 2014 @ 5:35pm
j'adore la maison , Bravo a toi :)
G20  [author] 8 Jun, 2014 @ 3:14pm
Hi brants
Yep, I just tried it and the Krosis mask is labled morokai or something, but it works ;) most of the mods with the masks dont make the final one work as you have to create your own trigger ;) I'm quite proud of that one, and I'll get the labeling right asap.
If you can add me and PM me the exact racks which dont function I'll see if theyre incorectly triggered at this end and fix them ;)
Thanks for the great feedback brother dovahkiin ;)
brants 8 Jun, 2014 @ 1:55pm
Really brilliant, a beautiful home. I am in the process of bringing all my gear here from other houses. Some of the weapon plaques in the armoury don't work, and I think some of the Krosis masks are incorrectly labelled, but its still the best home out there none the less. Shame about those niggles though, as it was knocking on the door of perfect....

This is just beautiful. Since it accesses to the solitude coast, I was wondering: why don't you put a boat path? If you haven't already ofc. (It would be awesome and realistic for those who don't use fast-travel)

It's still there. I'm seeing a file size in the top right of 1.2MB
Have you waited for validation and checked it's checked in your data files. Hope that helps.

You turn it off? Unsubscribe or off. Advice please?

This looks great. Beautiful garden. Any chance it will become available on the Nexus? I don't like my homes to update without warning. Oh, and there is another player home of the same name (entirely different, in a different location) already up on the Nexus. Just so you know.
