There are some people that do like battlefield, and I also like it. No matter if it is bugs or glitches, I still like it. There are over 12,000 players playing 2042 right now as of 2025.

@Amcar - It's the people who call a game trash shortly after it's initially released, who haven't really played the game, or just don't understand that every game launches with some bugs.

There isn't a single game that has launched 100% bug free.

great mod, but 2042 is actually pretty good, quite literally EVERY battlefield game since Battlefield 3 in 2011 has had a buggy launch. They always fix the bugs. Look at Bf4, it was considered a complete failure by the fans when it launched, now it's among the best of battlefield games. In 2042, they just need to iron out the hitreg issues and the weird ragdolls (they are hilarious though) and we'd have a pretty good game

If you don't take it seriously and laugh at the bugs instead then yes, it is fun. Bugs is one of the reasons why Gmod is so funny. The physics is broken. The problem is that 2042 is a legit game that people want to play seriously.
