Since people in the comments here have been asking for an update of this mod for a while...

I have made an update for this mod. Even if it wasn't really necessary.
I got rid of the yellow incompatability marker and made it so that Supply hubs actually cost 2000 instead of 3000 like it is here.

I think there should be two kinds of supply hub: A cheap version which is more susceptible to bombing and a little less supply, and the vanilla cost one but is very resistant to bombing but provides more supply (think underground tunnels and bunkers).
JimTheSoundman 10 Aug, 2023 @ 6:54am
I think in real life, when armies were moving rapidly from place to place, supply hubs would be built in tents, abandoned buildings, or whatever was available. But the game makes it seem like it's harder to build than roughly two civilian factories or three military factories. The idea that constructing a bunch of tents is harder than a massive civilian factory is ludicrous. However, supply hubs were built in remote locations, under threat of artillery fire or aircraft attack, so there is that to consider. I think 3000 is a fair amount to pay, and far more realistic balance than 20000. Thanks for this mod.

It's nuts that a supply hub, which should be just a rail station and a few warehouses, costs 2/3 of a nuclear reactor, especially since naval bases, which do the same job, cost far less, Thanks for creating this
Kara 20 Apr, 2022 @ 12:42pm
So I can confirm that the mod does indeed work as of current patch 1.11.10 but it seems to be incompatable with mods that set the building cost to vanilla values such as Expert AI. I think most people that are saying the mod doesn't work are using Expert AI or some other building mod that conflicts.

Latest patch fucked it, mate, just letting you know about it. I tested it with three other mods modifying the build cost and can say it is likely the latest patch that fucked them all up.

Can I advise you put the patch in to which you made the mod? That way we can see which patch this mod requires to work. :)

Mod says 2000 cost but in game it says it costs 3000 to build only this mod enabled.
Thunder Soul 26 Nov, 2021 @ 11:03pm
Honestly? For what a supply hub is(pretty much a large station with a whole bunch of warehouses), around 7k sounds fair enough. Still probably a little bit too much, but at least not TWICE as much as a production complex the size of a small town that, among other things, includes a medium railway station with storage facilities.
mtgone 26 Nov, 2021 @ 10:47pm
The consideration should be what really costs 20000 in the game and what costs 2000.

2000 is something like a couple of destroyers. From a material point of view and a build hours point of view i do not see why it should cost more than 2000.
Solodon 26 Nov, 2021 @ 9:40pm

make it 12k, or else supply hubs can be mass produced and will be too easy to make, making supply never a problem

I believe 6000-12000 cost would be more realistic.

Here's a collection with the option of having 5k, 10k, and 15k cost supply hubs for those asking for it.
Ranmyakki 25 Nov, 2021 @ 3:05pm
I'll look into the viability for some nations later, but if people are complaining this is too low, while 20k is too high (Sounds like I'd agree) perhaps 10k middle ground for now or alternative mod??

Keep the 2k option, and make a 10k option.
Dragnulls 25 Nov, 2021 @ 2:28pm
Okay but this is too low making the mod redundent to begin with, maybe 15000 or 14000?
brad_laces 25 Nov, 2021 @ 9:04am
Would you please consider making a mod where a supply hub costs 10000? A 50% reduction seems reasonable, a 90% reduction is too much.
Trex 25 Nov, 2021 @ 8:14am
i think 2000 is too low. the purpose of these hubs taking so long to build is so that you can't spam them out on your front and have infinite supply. I do agree they could be made cheaper but noting below 10K.
Trap Maid - 爱丽丝 25 Nov, 2021 @ 7:09am
I think 14000 is fair. A civilian factory costs 10000.

Úlfheðinn 25 Nov, 2021 @ 5:49am
7500 would be best I believe since the supply hub is heavily dependant on the level of train infrastructure
