Those old patches could work, as those patches are standalone files, and don't rely on either my mod or Kondi's original mod. The main issue is that my mod re-adjusted the scaling to ensure all ships have a unified proportion, while Kondi's scaling approach was more arbitrary. As a result, the scaling in old patches don't fully align with my mod's scaling ratios.

Quick question, do you know if the old patches for other shipsets would work with your mod? Or would I have to recreate them with the guide you linked.

I have tested all stages of bioships (mauler, weaver, harbinger, and stinger) of the 2 bio shipsets. And they should work properly. Or do you mean something was wrong with Behemoth Fury kaiju?

It looks like mature and elder bioships aren't downscaled properly.

The new content basically does not affect entities in older versions, so it should remain compatible with previous versions.

No. All ships from the same ship type (i.e. battleship, cruiser, taitan, etc) would share the same downscaling ratio.

Certainly. Fundamentally, these compatibility packs can operate independently without this mod or the original mod, as their code does not depend on either mod. So please feel free to use them. However, this mod has made some adjustments to the scaling ratio, so the scaling ratios of these compatibility packs will differ somewhat from this mod's.

Hello there, I was having trouble with Paradox Titan ships firing from the star when using weapons from ESC Next and narrowed it down to this mod. Would you be able to fix it?

If you just followed Kondi's guide and my annotations in files, I don't think it would not work. I have to wonder that your launcher didn't load your mod properly. That's a quite common issue with official launcher.

I'm trying to downscale another shipset mod, but every time I set the scale to a different number and save the file and reload the assets in game, nothing happens. I tried copying the way you did it in this mod but I keep having no result.

The only thing I think that might be the problem is that my mod is stored locally on my computer. (I made a test one with the launcher.) Any tips as to something I could be missing? I'm not good with this kind of stuff but I thought I'd try. Thanks

Juggernauts, Star bases and Colossi are all the same size btw
Also the Automated dreadnaughts meant to be the size of a planet. so keep it the same size please :)
also the marauder dwellings are big and the other Strategic/Curators are small.

The plantoid frigate and corvette in the shipset selection menu aren't downscaled. they do appear to be in the actul game, just not in the selection menu.

With respect - without the v the launcher says the mod is not for the current version of the game. Others have verified this.

Paradox changed the format for supported version to add a v so supported_version="v3.12.*" for the 3.12.5 patch. Please update. Thanks!
