Wow this makes such a big difference! Thank you so much
sammaster7752 18 Apr @ 9:39am
the only armor that seems to work is the light iron armor and starter armors.
sammaster7752 18 Apr @ 9:37am
yea I'm having issues my armor pack is completely messed up.
Frechdachs  [author] 16 Apr @ 4:32am
@ryand607 There are no extra steps. Subscribing should be enough.
ryand607 28 Feb @ 6:47pm
Okay, I'm confused, so does this mod work if I subscribe to it on here, or do I need to follow additional steps to get the mod to work properly?
Karalinhos 28 Feb @ 7:26am
Anyone here knows where i can delete the weapons icons from this mod?
miguel 14 Jan @ 6:19pm
hello, is there any way to use this without changing the (player) character models?
Yahweh The Mad 8 Nov, 2024 @ 12:59pm
(@Rand Althor) Actually, you should benefit from it in all your content, original campaigns included.
Rand Althor 8 Nov, 2024 @ 8:11am
I'm replaying the base game for the first time in many years. Will I benefit from having this mod in the original campaign? Or is this really something only incorporated in the user created content and modules?
Atronus 5 Jul, 2024 @ 12:05pm
I just started playing the game with this pack. I notice some items are still using old textures such as basic medium shield and I even see some npcs with older models as well. Is this normal and is there a fix? (Playing unmodded OC atm)
Yahweh The Mad 24 Jan, 2024 @ 12:49pm
(@Hans von Hammer) Sweet, glad it worked:steamhappy:. It's all about loading order usually. Whatever is installed first gets re-written by incoming files of the same name. Sometimes it can get a little tricky lol. Either way, it's great news that your problem is resolved. Now, ON TO THE ADVENTURE!:neverwintereye:
Da Vinci 24 Jan, 2024 @ 11:08am
@Sith Thunder Speak of the devil. I actually did that today and it worked. Project reforged must overwrite HD mod. Now the game finally feels complete and immersive
Yahweh The Mad 23 Jan, 2024 @ 10:12am
(@Hans von Hammer) Did you try copying the project reforge files and then pasting them back once this mod has been installed? That may solve the issue.
Da Vinci 23 Jan, 2024 @ 4:24am
The models and armors is sooo good, but whats up with the weapons? The greatsword looks like a thick paddle and i dont know what the 1+-4+ longswords is supposed to be. Not even Wow weapons looks that silly. Looks more like a stick then swords. Would be sooo good if you just left the weapons alone and only focused on the models and armors. Project reforge have made some amazing weapon designs and i would love to combine that mod with this. The crappy weapon skins in this mod overwrites project reforge
Klint Izwudd 28 Dec, 2023 @ 11:53am
Looks really great, is Aribeth meant to be unchanged though?
asam_bler 4 Sep, 2023 @ 12:48pm
Great job! I'm soo happy that game is still living!
Yahweh The Mad 26 Jul, 2023 @ 4:58pm
(@Mason Morecheese) Take a peek at this amazing guide. This should help you solve your problem: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1309774090

In a nutshell, what you'll probably need to do is copy this mod's files over to your NWN documents folder. Again, refer to this guide for specifics. It's actually easier than you might think. :neverwintereye:
Mason Morecheese 24 Jul, 2023 @ 1:55pm
So, how do I see the content. I created a new module in the toolset and made a regular human, but it seems its still the ugly original models, nor the better heads, hands etc.?!?
Bradge 23 Jul, 2023 @ 6:37pm
Some persistent worlds clash with the HD textures on the heads and, as a result, causing the textures to be positioned poorly. This is due to customizations on those persistent worlds
Yahweh The Mad 11 Jul, 2023 @ 10:30am
Anyone else have issues with the heads? Particularly the textures not being in the right places on the heads? If so, how would I go about fixing it? Otherwise great mod.
Gramification 23 May, 2023 @ 11:32am
Is anyone having an issue with legs disappearing? Not game breaking but odd. After unsubbing the legs reappeared. I don't have any other art mods installed.
Frechdachs  [author] 8 May, 2023 @ 3:52pm
Do you mean this mod? No, you hit the subscribe button and wait for the download to finish, and then play through steam.

If you mean the performance pack, then yes. You will have to manage that yourself.
The Audacity 8 May, 2023 @ 3:24pm
Do I have to unpack it?
Frechdachs  [author] 3 Apr, 2023 @ 8:01am
For cases with performance issues I as well would advice to get the 'Low quality PLT pack'.

Keep in mind that you CANNOT load any save files created on a Beta branch (higher version) on the release branch (lower version). You can't play on the beta branch and continue your game again on the release branch.

I don't know though, if you can play on the current Beta branch, and then switch back to the release branch again after the patch came out, and continue your game.
El Grillo 3 Apr, 2023 @ 6:32am
@Greyfire, to solve your performance issues you will want to (a) get the Vault version of the HD pack (https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwnee/hakpak/original-hakpak/beamdogs-hd-art-pack-community-fixes) , and (b) get the 'Low quality PLT pack' additional download from that same Vault page and use that as well. Should solve your issues.
However if you're on steam version of the game you could also opt into the Beta for the upcoming .35 patch for NWN. There is an option added that processes the PLT textures (which this HD pack has in spadefuls) on the GPU instead of CPU. User testing indicates that will also likely solve your issue. Though bear in mind that the patch is still in beta/development so may introduce other game bugs. See here for more info on the .35 patch: https://www.reddit.com/r/neverwinternights/comments/11sxmx1/comment/jcfz62c/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
Greyfire 4 Jan, 2023 @ 10:29am
Man, this one AND the BD one fail to do anything besides jack my game up. And its crazy unfortunate because these are excellent models but the constant stuttering when loading NPCs and monsters, and the weird shadow bugs where my characters nose casts a shadow are just too much to recommend either of these. Having immersion broken in a dnd game in even a subtle way just destroys the enjoyment for me - especially for a game like NWN of which I have enjoyed thousands of hours. I hope the issues with these get sorted out some day because I would prefer to use these models. Thanks for all your hard work though - I dont mean to dismiss the obvious time and effort than went into this project.
SprendiX 30 Dec, 2022 @ 9:41pm
Of course, it's not just about your modification. Some others don't work either.
Frechdachs  [author] 30 Dec, 2022 @ 5:52pm
Have all the subscribed items finished downloading? 1.6GB might take a while.
SprendiX 30 Dec, 2022 @ 1:55pm
yes
Frechdachs  [author] 30 Dec, 2022 @ 1:45pm
Are you launching the game through Steam (Play button)?
SprendiX 30 Dec, 2022 @ 9:19am
Why do some modifications not work for me? This one doesn't work either
BlinkDrink 26 Sep, 2022 @ 11:11am
@Frechdachs Thank you for the short notice answer. After some time playing I can see that some have it and others just dont. And thank you for publishing this here, more recognition for the community heroes that made this possible!
Frechdachs  [author] 26 Sep, 2022 @ 7:57am
@BlinkDrink
It's mixed. Some NPCs happen to use PC assets, but many don't. You will encounter NPCs for which this mod works, but also many for who it doesn't.
BlinkDrink 26 Sep, 2022 @ 5:37am
It doesnt work for NPCs that you encounter during the game, right?
El Grillo 17 Sep, 2022 @ 3:48pm
PSA: the performance problems (stuttering) with this HD pack have now been fixed
See below comment regarding low rez textures now released on the Vault
Frechdachs  [author] 17 Sep, 2022 @ 2:14pm
@Everyone

Lower resolution PLTS files are available as a separate download from the vault. Let me know if you want to see them replacing the normal resolution PLTS files in this Workshop mod or not.

my char model looks like an eldritch horror when i have this installed.

Nobody had problems with the fire animation? I have no fire graphics!
Windiest Miller👑 16 Jul, 2022 @ 2:18am
This is a great modification, thank you to everyone involved for all of your hard work
Frechdachs  [author] 15 Jul, 2022 @ 7:04am
@El Grillo Great news. Thanks for the heads-up. Fingers crossed.
El Grillo 15 Jul, 2022 @ 6:00am
@Frechdachs there are two potential updates to the pack that are in the works. One is a downscaling of some of the textures to partially address the stuttering @SirDumin below and others experience (which may also be addressed by a different kind of update soon... hush hush!) The second is that one community member has made efforts to fix some of the heads which look a bit unusual/old compared to their OG versions.
Nothing confirmed yet but at least one of the above updates is in testing at the moment, so never say never.
Khveasir 27 Jun, 2022 @ 7:16am
Game changer mod. Really well done.
Paphjort 23 Jun, 2022 @ 2:36pm
Great work posting it here on the workshop. Makes it much more accessible! version 1.4.1 works fine for me.
Frechdachs  [author] 23 Jun, 2022 @ 1:45pm
@DarinM I honestly doubt there will be many further updates. This mod will not receive new content (it will only ever have the content that the original mod released by Beamdog has), and my guess is that most major bugs have been fixed (bugs that can be fixed "easy enough"). You are right in that it's very experimental, since the original mod by Beamdog was never finished. It's an unfinished, pre-alpha product that was abandoned and released "as is" since they didn't want to keep working on it, but still thought the community might get some use out of it. That's also why there isn't an official download for it on the store page or official HD DLC on the store page. My guess is, that the community fixed it as far as they could by now.

Did you try the user-patch version from https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwnee/hakpak/original-hakpak/beamdogs-hd-models-textures-pack-nwnee ?
DarinM 23 Jun, 2022 @ 8:26am
@Frechdachs I deleted it and all it did was remove the HD Art Pack from my NWN. Since this was the 2nd time I've removed it, I'm gong to wait till this it has a few more updates before trying it again. I live in a rural area and my upload/download speeds are very limited. I'll keep an eye on this mod periodically and once I see more people able to use it without messed up characters than I'll give it a try again. As of right now I really cannot recommend this mod, since it's very experimental and buggy. Anyway thanks for suggestion Frechdachs and I wish the community developers on the best with improving this mod. Take care. :steamhappy:
Frechdachs  [author] 23 Jun, 2022 @ 4:29am
Did you deleting steamapps\workshop\content\704450 ?
DarinM 22 Jun, 2022 @ 11:32pm
Have same problem as BinTech, characters a broken mess. Tried uninstalling, deleting folder from Mydocuments and SteamApps\Common, reinstalled, only subscribed, downloaded and installed this mod, but models still a mess. Originally downloaded from Beamdog's site 1.0 which had small graphical glitches like monks robes, but at least models weren't mangled. My system is MSI GF65 with RTX2080, 2 x SSD drives, and 64 GB of RAM, running Windows 11, newest NVidia drivers too. Any ideas would be appreciated. Will check back periodally over next few days and if nothing will just unsubscribe and reinstall 1.0 Nice to see people trying to improve on 1.0, but 1.41, at least for a few of us, still needs more work. Thanks again for any help in advance! :steamhappy:
Sir Durmin 10 Jun, 2022 @ 4:43pm
Just an incredible mod, thanks for adding it here.
I'm just having one, pretty annoying problem: every time the game loads an npc modified by the mod, the game stutters for split second. It becomes extremely annoying in towns and highly populated areas where the games keeps loading and unloading models due to the low draw distance.
It must have something to do with how the game loads the files from this mod into the game. I tried using the override version but i had no luck so far. Does anyone knows of a fix? Thanks in advance!
Mercenary 9 Jun, 2022 @ 5:31pm
It doesn't work for aurora toolset. Is there a way to make it happen?
