In a nutshell, what you'll probably need to do is copy this mod's files over to your NWN documents folder. Again, refer to this guide for specifics. It's actually easier than you might think.
If you mean the performance pack, then yes. You will have to manage that yourself.
Keep in mind that you CANNOT load any save files created on a Beta branch (higher version) on the release branch (lower version). You can't play on the beta branch and continue your game again on the release branch.
I don't know though, if you can play on the current Beta branch, and then switch back to the release branch again after the patch came out, and continue your game.
However if you're on steam version of the game you could also opt into the Beta for the upcoming .35 patch for NWN. There is an option added that processes the PLT textures (which this HD pack has in spadefuls) on the GPU instead of CPU. User testing indicates that will also likely solve your issue. Though bear in mind that the patch is still in beta/development so may introduce other game bugs. See here for more info on the .35 patch: https://www.reddit.com/r/neverwinternights/comments/11sxmx1/comment/jcfz62c/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
It's mixed. Some NPCs happen to use PC assets, but many don't. You will encounter NPCs for which this mod works, but also many for who it doesn't.
See below comment regarding low rez textures now released on the Vault
Lower resolution PLTS files are available as a separate download from the vault. Let me know if you want to see them replacing the normal resolution PLTS files in this Workshop mod or not.

Nothing confirmed yet but at least one of the above updates is in testing at the moment, so never say never.
Did you try the user-patch version from https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwnee/hakpak/original-hakpak/beamdogs-hd-models-textures-pack-nwnee ?
I'm just having one, pretty annoying problem: every time the game loads an npc modified by the mod, the game stutters for split second. It becomes extremely annoying in towns and highly populated areas where the games keeps loading and unloading models due to the low draw distance.
It must have something to do with how the game loads the files from this mod into the game. I tried using the override version but i had no luck so far. Does anyone knows of a fix? Thanks in advance!
