Spy really needs more sappers, he only really has ONE sapper that isnt completely useless, and that is the whEATLY SAPPER

Personally, it looks more like an Alyx asset than it does a TF2 one. In the in-game screenshots, it looks so much more detailed than everything else around it. My eye is immediately drawn to the sapper because of just how much more detailed it looks than the map. Spy's other sappers are much more cartoony and less detailed than this. They don't stick out.

the model style is really far from the tf2 cartoony style, you could prolly refined that

That all seems rather complicated, but it's actually quite simple. When you place this sapper on a building, it doesn't make the usual lightshow, instead just sticking to it without disabling it. After its timer has counted down, it makes a loud alarm for 1.5 seconds, then creates a large explosion that deals exactly enough damage to destroy the building. (Therefore the higher the building's HP, the more damage you do to everything caught in the blast.) Players directly next to a building being sapped can hear a faint ticking sound, if they're listening for it.

So the trick with this sapper is to place it while the engineer is distracted by something else. Do it right, and the results are devastating. But if the engineer notices the sapper before its timer finishes or has good reaction time, then it's effectively useless. In other words, it functions just like the Spy!

I really like the gameplay ideas this brings to mind!

Stat Idea:
+ Sapped buildings explode in a large radius when destroyed, damaging nearby enemies.
+ No obvious particle effects or noises while sapping.
+ Delays Engineer's "sapped building" warning to 2.5 seconds before detonation.
- Does not disable buildings.
- Sapper is removed in one hit.

> Instead of draining a building's health, this sapper has a set timer based on the building it's placed on. This equals the same time it would take to normally sap said building at full health, plus one second.
