I think the "distance too short" bug is caused by the walkway added in the front. I wend under editor and removed it and saved it. I worked fine then. That being said, I had to delete the original one because my fixed one and this one conflicted.

You can find this asset in the oil industry tab to the far right, it will unlock with the one star oil industry.
