Might not be a whole head replacement like this though, what with the tri limit being a huge issue during modelling, which led to a lot of sanding down and decimation of the face and horns. Maybe just the horns and a beard/mane?
Didn't help that I had no clue how to go about doing AO baking and normals to really make those facial features as well as horns pop.
Still, thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to add more edges next time around and hold back on the smoothing.
Everything seems way too smooshed, maybe some more experimentations with the original concept art and some more sharp polygons instead of being too smooth that you can't see any of the planes from the face, in it's current form.
