what I really meant was, to 'count' those planets. Apologies for the poor wording.
Since then however I have already found a way to count all planets in a galaxy (both habitable and candidates) via a script command.
Thanks for replying
sorting of the list might be a bit fonky but they are all there
do you know of any way I can check all the galaxy's planets that have the 'terraforming candidate' tag?
Trying to balance a map out but I'm having a terrible time when searching for the 'candidates'.
I'm using 'observe' btw.
Thanks
Thanks
I was in the middle of an ongoing game and didn't actually use the mod before commenting here.
Now that I started a new game with the mod on and saw the starting screen, things are much more clearer.
Please ignore my previous posts
It just occured to me that the 10-90% in the description is really 10 habitable planets to 90% of all habitable planets.
In my calculation I assumed 10-90% = 10%-90%
Can you please verify?
Let me make it easier,
assuming the original number of habitable planets is 625 (25% of 2500)
after the calculations, will the range of habitable planets (including those that can be terraformed) be 118-568 with this mod on?
I normally play on a 2500 map with a 0.25 habitable planet slider mark (leftmost setting)
Pretending that 0.25 means 25% of the total (just for the sake of the example),
does that mean that, hypothetically, I will be getting a 118-568 range of potentially habitable planets? (including those that can be terraformed)
Thanks
I have updated the mod.
1. Player Host first selects parameters.
2. The choice of the rest of the players is unimportant.
