plus how do you do it because i tried but failed so could you post a comment or video fixing this issue please
1. download the shared assets mod (the required file) and leave it in the workshop download folder (where steam will place it normally on clicking the "subscribe" button)
2. subscribe to this mod and leave it in its download location.
3. copy the files from this download and place said copy into your black mesa custom folder.
if done correctly you should have a copy of this mod in both the workshop folder and you black mesa custom folders
for some reason, having the mod in only one of these two locations results in one or more aspects of the mod not working.
Draw back of this is, you will not be able to use custom sound replacers for the weapon, trying to do so results in the sounds bugging out and not aligning with the animations.
hope this helps anyone else running into problems with the mod.
the things you don't notice when you use custom sound scripts :P
Extract the mod vpk
go into the sound folder
rename draw_admire to draw_admire01.
This will fix the draw sound being out of sync
