(QoL) Make 'P' Great Again

When welding from a blueprint, this mod disables the parking selection on everything in that blueprint, which doesn't really make P great at all. One still has to go through the entire build, re-enabling parking on all the connectors and wheels and landing gear that need it.

Can we just assume that when placing from a blueprint, the selected value is fine and can be left alone?

Rover only challenge / parking your space carrier somewhere in a spaceport / driving your mining barge that has lots of small mining drones. Just putting some ideas for the possible use cases where the connectors would be needed to be setup correctly

Not a matter of remembering, just never did that before. Mainly as I never understood the benift of driving via connector. So likely never will do that.

The problem here is that when you are driving a big ship/rover with other small ships/rovers attached via connectors, pressing P will by default detach them (at least that was the default behavior when I made the mod). The fix for this would be to go to each connector and set them to not toggle when pressing P. This mod automatically sets it to not detach the moment you place the block, so you don't have to remember.

Not sure I understand, I use P when I want the rover parked and not to move... it works as intended. So not sure how this is a fix or what exactly it does. I mean the description offered seems to center around that one thing not working...

the control seat's park checkbox is always greyed out but set checked. if it were not greyed out then I could un-check it and and thus disable the P command from the seat. Then my ships won't disconnect and fall to their doom when I stupidly hit the wrong key while recharging. This problem is the reason that I cleared key bindings for P, so that feature would make P great again for me :)

Hello, can you explain what do you exactly mean? As far as I know the park checkbox in the control seat means if the Parking is active or not, much like pressing P, it doesn't mean if that cockpit is allowed to Park.

Does this mod affect the control seats' PARK checkbox that is greyed our for the user but controls whether the Park command can be used while sitting in the chair? I so desperately need that check box to not be in checked condition or not greyed out so I can control that behaviour but I would be more than happy to live without it completely
