Тупое прохождение на «Реализм — Эксперт», которое я монтировал несколько дней, чтобы сделать видео хоть немного развлекательным (особенно если сам-знает-кто будет его смотреть)
Great campaign. Great Boomers out of thin air. Great eggsplosions. Difficult, but manageable finale.
Oh yeah, I found and used both of the deep water exits on my playthrough. It was just annoying because a Survivor Bot fell into the deep water, drowned to the Downed state, was revived by myself, and immediately after their post-revive invincibility-frames wore off, they began taking drowning damage again and were downed in nearly the same spot. Prompting me to teleport them out of the water with the Admin System mod's 'bots warp' command.
I immediately realized you removed the electrified aspect of the 'electrified water' hazard due to the Survivor Bots, as that's simply logical. But the electrical visual effect remains, and so human players will still attempt to complete the jumping puzzle every time (I saw this in both my own playthrough and a video of the map played by Asian players), only to find that they can't due to missing platforms, and then get confused and temporarily 'stuck'...
Gauntlet Events are infinite/alarm horde events that L4D2 introduced. A form of Crescendo Event that only stops when the Survivors act. They tend to be the most difficult part in a lot of maps (especially Dark Carnival vanilla), and so I make special note of them on my Custom Map reviews. Not having them isn't necessarily a detriment, but it does typically make a map easier.
The deep water area have two exits, might be a bit difficult to find cuz you're slowed down
The electric water puzzle wouldn't work well when playing with bot so I had to get it removed
Not sure if the Gauntlet event you mentioned is the same as regular panic event ?
Black Mesa: Undertow is an okay Custom Map overall, and includes some of the most iconic areas from Half-Life 1 as a notable novelty.
However, it notably suffers from some significant jank.
Examples of Black Mesa: Undertow’s jank include: as soon as the map starts the horde and Special Infected timers start counting down; there’s no grace period, some of the Safe Rooms aren’t safe and oddly include Infected-spawning vents that lead into them; undermining them, the Safe Rooms also feature no grace period from the horde and Special timers, the Survivor Bot pathing is extremely bad, the map includes lots of explosive barrels/crates that can deal massive damage/instakill Survivors near them, the explosive barrels/crates on the map instantly explode if any physics props make contact with them (IE Gas Cans, Propane Tanks, Oxygen Tanks, etc)...
There are no Gauntlet events on this Custom Map, which makes it easier. However, there are also scripted Tank events in some areas, which make it harder.
Overall though, the relative difficulty of Black Mesa: Undertow is compromised as a result of the nigh-omnipresence of Health Stations and Medkits (and a guaranteed Laser Sights). There is so much full-health healing present, that you’d struggle to be on low health...
In spite of the ever-presence of healing on BM:E, it should also be noted that there is a relative rarity of other key pickups throughout much of the campaign, such as throwable explosives and secondary weapon pickups. Which adds to the difficulty somewhat.
Black Mesa: Undertow’s Finale is a relatively easy Defend-Tank-Defend-Double Tank set within a modified version of the Black Mesa Dam.
This Finale is pretty easy overall, as there’s good spots to hold, lots of Fireworks, two mounted guns, and lots of room to kite the Double Tanks.
Black Mesa: Undertow’s Finale notably also has some jank including no/hidden Ammo Piles (though there are lots of Tier 2 weapons all over to swap out for), Triplets of a given Special Infected spawning randomly out of nowhere at set times (IE 3 Chargers), and there being an accessible military helicopter escape vehicle asset located in the Finale area; which is not an actual escape vehicle on this Finale.
8.5/10
创意不错,指示也很到位,救援记得上直升机(打完两波克)
I'll update gamebanana when I have time
