The reason why you experience intense lag when the menu is open is because you guys are playing a version of Teardown incompatible with the tool menu. If you can, downgrade to AT LEAST to version 1.5 by right-clicking Teardown, press Properties, press Betas, and opt into 'prev_build_1.5' - Version 1.5. This should fix the lagging.

Is that after you opened and closed the game? Could also be that the mod created a cache of all the tool ids, which could grow to be a big file, sadly/luckily I haven't run into that problem so nor would I know what can be causing it.

i checked, yes i have to many, but when all other mods disabled and i open it my fps drops from 120 to 90 why is it so non optimised?

egg doggy's problem is not from a conflicting mod i think, the same error appears when i had too many mods enabled, I might make a mod that fixes some of the problems of some of the errors.

I am sorry, but recently I have not been feeling/got the time to make/fix/work on mods, but @egg doggy of what you are telling me it looks like there is a mod interfering with the menu just like the gas can mod @bovo0725 is talking about but way worse. @bobo0725 the thermite cannon zhould be under modded items, other wise it's like the gas can mod in which case it's the respected modders fault for not keeping to the teardown modding standards. Hope this has cleared things up for you both.

Try going to the option menu and pressing the reset, button it is really weird that it happens to some people and not all.

Doesn't have modificators like the mod menu, but good enough i guess.

I am working on some changes but the visuals are just fine. You should notice some different catagories, depending on how many mods you have.

@B.M.R.F. Scientist, the problem is that the programmer of the gascan, just closed of his program, meaning when I manually added the tool to the list it showed up but when I selected the gascan it didn't show, so if you want these mods to work together you have to tell the mod-maker of the gascan.

I don't think that is possible as that is something that has to be put in the main.lua file of the item mod.

can you do that you can click item and add it to 1 2 3 4 5 6 tools ?

I would but I already changed the code and wil change it further, so the open source code won't be the same, what anyone can do is make a local copy of the mod and edit it to their desire. But I am going to improve and add alot more

I meant the tool mod of which the item wasn't showing not the other tool menu mod.

If a tool doesn't work, you can check what toolid it is looking for. The tool ids you can get from the registry are all lowercase. But if a tool is selected using the game, it does use the name with capital letters.

And if the tool happens to check for if its used or not using capital letters, it will not work.

That's why it won't work with certain tools.
