Awesome, thank you!

Awesome, thank you!
Holgast  [author] 16 Aug, 2024 @ 6:24pm
Otter didn't tell me 1.5 was out 😂 I just did a quick test and it looks like I don't need to make any changes, so I just added the 1.5 compatibility line
Tetrako 16 Aug, 2024 @ 12:37pm
Is there any chance this'd be getting a 1.5 update?
Douglas135 9 Feb, 2023 @ 1:20pm
Yeah, that was the one I was getting. Sounds like it's harmless enough. Thanks for the quick reply!
Holgast  [author] 9 Feb, 2023 @ 1:43am
I just tested with just this and MHRW, and the only error caused by this mod was just duplicate toxic resistance stats, because they have now been added into the base mod. Will just push an update to remove those
Douglas135 8 Feb, 2023 @ 6:37pm
Is anyone else getting errors with this mod?
Holgast  [author] 29 Nov, 2022 @ 4:05am
With the release of Medieval Overhaul 1.4, the leather patch should no longer be required. I'll just remove it
FlyinMarks 28 Oct, 2022 @ 4:23pm
Right, my bad
Holgast  [author] 28 Oct, 2022 @ 4:19pm
It doesn't add any, those are in the base mod Monster Hunter Rimworld, which has an imgur album linked
FlyinMarks 28 Oct, 2022 @ 6:26am
Hey, Is there a list of monsters that this mod adds?
Holgast  [author] 20 Oct, 2022 @ 5:26am
OK, it appears that only blue mushrooms are grow/hydroponic-able at the moment. I can add the others if you like
Holgast  [author] 16 Oct, 2022 @ 4:00pm
ah, but I did make nulberries non-seedable because they're a bit rare ;)
Holgast  [author] 16 Oct, 2022 @ 4:00pm
last I checked, mushrooms were but seeds weren't since they're all fairly common. I can add them, sure
ashesofempires04 16 Oct, 2022 @ 9:44am
Is it possible to add the various plants as growable in the game's hydroponics?
Lekoda 15 Oct, 2022 @ 7:34am
Oh I had no idea you couldnt set dependency as or or and.
Holgast  [author] 14 Oct, 2022 @ 7:17pm
Preliminary 1.4 update. Some stuff needs to be changed on the base mod side - toxic sensitivity was changed to toxic resistance, so that's not working unless I added it in for this mod. I could fix it on my end but not bothered right now - I'm sure asg will fix it later.

I also removed the mod dependency in About because now Legacy users were kicking up. you should be able to figure out that either one needs to be enabled without me :)
Holgast  [author] 14 Oct, 2022 @ 4:34pm
yes, I've discussed this in here numerous times, you can't set an 'or' dependency so I had to set it to one of the versions. I could just remove the dependency if it is a problem, but I would expect people to show up not using either of them 😂
Lekoda 14 Oct, 2022 @ 4:21pm
Another thing the Expansion of this mod is saying it requires the version without weapons which is weird. and not true
Holgast  [author] 3 Oct, 2022 @ 2:39pm
I would have to check later. IIRC, you can plant the mushrooms but not the seeds since you end up with too many of them.
Lekoda 3 Oct, 2022 @ 10:58am
How do you plant the flora found in this mod?
Holgast  [author] 3 Oct, 2022 @ 3:47am
(and also, I actually still use Legacy, so it made my life easier 😂)
Holgast  [author] 3 Oct, 2022 @ 3:46am
I think I just put it off for ages because more people were using Legacy at the time. If some Legacy users pop up, I'll just add a commented out bit with instructions on how to swap the dependency over for Legacy
Shade 3 Oct, 2022 @ 3:45am
Inb4 people in legacy comment section "Bruh our rimpy is throwing errors". XD
Shade 3 Oct, 2022 @ 3:45am
Thank you! Can't wait to try this out. Sorry to be a pain, just ocd about warnings/errors showing up, especially when im using around 500 mods.
Holgast  [author] 3 Oct, 2022 @ 3:44am
Ok, I changed the dependency away from Legacy, so now I can finally rest from discussing this 😂 and non-Legacy users won't get RimPy errors. TBH I should have done this ages ago, when I did the same for the standalone leather patch.
If you're still using Legacy deal with it (or change the dependency in your local copy).
Holgast  [author] 3 Oct, 2022 @ 3:32am
further to the many, many previous discussions about how it's not possible to set a dependency for 'either' version of MHRW and it has to be one or the other and you can ignore the error if you are using the other one, I'm just going to change the dependency to the new version instead of Legacy, since it seems like most are using it.
if anyone is still using Legacy I'm sure they're aware of dependency issues when using forks. honestly this could have been avoided if they didn't change the packageId when moving out of Legacy, a lot of forks keep the old one for this reason 🤷🏼‍♀️
Shade 3 Oct, 2022 @ 2:14am
I am also getting RimPy warnings about this mod. I am not using the Legacy version of MHRW.
The Creature 2 Oct, 2022 @ 5:14pm
i accidentally deleted a rimpy config actually so it works now no problems here sorry about that
Holgast  [author] 2 Oct, 2022 @ 1:23am
so I guess you are using the legacy version of MHRW?
The Creature 1 Oct, 2022 @ 5:55pm
i used to not have problems with this mod, but i recently cleared out my mod list and it suddenly is flagging errors every time i sort. (i am using rimpy) in the past i fixed it by removing the modDependencies thing from the about.xml but now it doesn't work anymore so i don't really know what to do
Nonno Smeraldo 27 Aug, 2022 @ 8:05pm
Yeah i absolutely agree with that. It would probably be better that way. Maybe add in the description something about that error so others won't bother you anymore with the same "issue" again and again
Holgast  [author] 27 Aug, 2022 @ 4:19pm
personally I feel like it's better to have done it this way than not having any dependency. but I can swap it to the non-legacy version since I think more people are using that
Holgast  [author] 27 Aug, 2022 @ 4:17pm
As previously mentioned in the comments, it's not possible to set an 'or' dependency in the About.xml so I had to pick one of the versions of MHRW to enter. I believe this one uses the legacy version as the xml dependency, but as mentioned at the top of the mod description you only need to be using either one of them. just ignore the error
Nonno Smeraldo 27 Aug, 2022 @ 7:50am
I'm having the same issue as @ScaryRabbit but with Fluffy's Mod Manager , it's telling that Monster Hunter RimWorld is not enabled, which actually is
Holgast  [author] 25 Aug, 2022 @ 4:39am
I don't use Rimpy, so I don't know either! Do you know if it's even possible to do that?
ScaryRabbit 24 Aug, 2022 @ 9:18pm
Hey Holgast, can you update the RIMPY listing, so it recognizes the forked mod as a legal option?
I don t know how exactly it s done, but it s something about the RIMPY database.

Thanks...

It s not like it s not working, just that it s very annoying to get a warning every time I sort.
JFallDesu 28 Jul, 2022 @ 5:22am
Oh yeah you're right xD my bad, I've been playing modded rimworld for so long that I forgot it wasn't vanilla
Holgast  [author] 27 Jul, 2022 @ 2:47pm
I don't think I added that to the list. I specifically only added old age stuff like cataracts, alzheimer's, etc. I think that particular disease is added by a mod too.
JFallDesu 27 Jul, 2022 @ 4:38am
Just got a Kirin spawn with chronic kidney disease (65% blood filtration), is it normal?
[R0A] JadeTigerPlays 14 Jun, 2022 @ 10:16am
Holgast, you're correct.

I removed the mod dependancy section from the about.xml for this mod and it no longer flags the error in RimPy.
Holgast  [author] 11 Jun, 2022 @ 5:52pm
There are two versions of Monster Hunter Rimworld, you only need either one. Probably the About dependency is referring to the other one, since it isn't possible to set an 'either' dependency.
Legion 11 Jun, 2022 @ 1:15pm
Weird. I have the dependency and it is enabled, yet RimPy tells me still that it requires Monster Hunter Rimworld.
Cody 24 May, 2022 @ 11:08am
huh, odd guess i'll start a test world and try to narrow down the conflict, thanks for checking though!
Holgast  [author] 24 May, 2022 @ 9:26am
Sorry, couldn't replicate, works for me. That's pretty weird, guess it's a mod conflict somewhere.
Holgast  [author] 20 May, 2022 @ 7:08am
I'll have to take another look at it in testing, according to the defs it should work fine.
Cody 20 May, 2022 @ 5:57am
Just tossing this in here, letting you know Kebli hide seems to turn straight into regular leather with Medieval Overhaul. only one ive noticed that doesn't tan correctly, but i'll keep my eye out for others.
Holgast  [author] 9 May, 2022 @ 8:04pm
Updated, reworked potion, added some other things.
Holgast  [author] 5 May, 2022 @ 11:28pm
So after testing, the current way it works is that the assembly for gendered leather drops overrides med overhaul's hide system, meaning they just skip a step and go straight to the monster parts. I can keep it like this, see if I can get a C# person to work around it, or treat the monster part as a hide and then create a different item to replicate the monster part (bad idea, I'd have to redo every recipe and it would mess with things)
Gaddius 30 Apr, 2022 @ 6:25am
I love you
