does anyone know if this mod works with new age, ik they're planning on adding it to the core mod but it doesn't seem like they have added it yet and i want to know
i can't really think of any reason it'd break besides the version difference (1.5) but just making sure

Hi hi, so am working on a rework for the apini mod for the 1.5 and all of the dlcs currently nickname “apini new age” and wondered if you want to help and if you want to stick your stuff in the core of the mod, cause we are planning to add new benches and abilities like flying and ton more and your stuff would fit right in. (Cause always played with your mod cause it seemed lacking otherwise later on in game)

Hope we can work together, we in the alien race discord if that’s easier to talk in than steam <3

I believe this is an optional "second party" expansion of the mod. I do wonder if I could make the content part of the main apini mod and have it be configurable with the mod settings. That would be a lot of snowflake work that would need to be constantly updated and kept track of. Whereas making a second mod that interface with the main one is very easy in comparison.

No idea how or why, but this mod is being considered corrupted and/or causing issues with others... that, and it seems to be causing my black screen problems right now. Logs can't say very much about this mod, unfortunately.

Have you considered making the new furniture (beds, tables, etc.) a Style instead of just new duplicates of existing Furniture? The base Apini Mod already adds beds, for instance.

Please consider adding support for the Make Honey Compatible Mod, if your Mod adds new classes of Honey. You do this and ensure that you can make, say, Honey Dipper Spears out of ANY honey, and not merely Apini Honey.

I do not personally plan on making changes relating to Biotech or future DLCs for rimworld due to the many factors of my situation. But that does not mean I will not allow it or enable it, simply that I, personally, will probably not work on it.
Aside from that this addon is super super fun to play with and I can't get past how cute the freaking bee in the cover is.

ya i know a few race mods though 1.4 are NOT safe to use with biotech yet im hoping that even if they dont support biotechs genetic stuff i hope they instead make shure it can at lest function with it as i am waiting for only 1 race mod really to be updated.

Since Biotech is expensive and works differently from Humanoid Alien Races, it'll depend on what Apini's current maintainer does. What's likely is that the Apini race will continue to rely on HAR, and it's up to the current devs if they want to support Biotech's genes or not. Hopefully HAR can fix up whatever's screwing with Biotech's gene rendering.

Update 0.4

- Adds rapid honey rifle and prismatic repeater.
- Adds two sources of recreation. The early game drug Pollendaise, which reduces consciousness while also reducing the rate needs fall, and the futuristic Holoimager, a prismatic television.

Fair, they are not demands by far. haha

-Special bionics for wings and eyes based off of Prismtech - perhaps giving a social boost - would be fun, perhaps. Something like shimmering wings and eyes.

-Something with recreation? Perhaps a light-based recreation object or decorative object.

-An advanced Apini battery.

-More advanced versions of the honeyvats.

-Laser/Light based defensive turrets.

-Being able to make the floors out of the new types of wax, and perhaps a special type of wax based around the new honey type that has higher beauty but lower hp?


And suggestions that are likely impossible, or require extensive coding:

-Some manner of special hydroponics explicitly for Apini plants.

-A workbench for making Apini things, perhaps even a 'basic' one for early game and 'advanced' one for late game.

Hotfix 0.2.1:

- Fixed issue where a certain ultratech weapon fails to load without Royalty.

I was unable to reproduce the dev mode spawning problem, but noticed that the Solenopsis Gauntlets ultratech weapon did not load properly without Royalty, which may be the reason for the issue. Let me know if the issue persists.

That's... really unusual, since dev mode is primarily how I test this. It could possibly be a mod incompatibility issue.

Azuri would probably be a separate mod if I ever get around to it.

i might have found a bug (no pun intended) and i don't know how to describe it but it prevents me from spawning stuff using dev mode with this mod active.

any chance you'll add in some stuff for the azuri as well? i feel like their weapons would be more on the lethal side and some poison related stuff or something, since wasps rely on poison as an offense. and for sure their furniture would be blue instead of the yellow/orange.

Apitecture Plus! Update 0.2:

-Spacer tech: Prismtech, grow an advanced, apini unique plant with special light based properties to create new weapons and advanced technology.
-Added weapons for both spacer and medieval tech levels.
-Prism Lotus is a spacer era plant that is necessary for creating and fueling Prismtech items.
-Prismtech weapons rely on using a prism honey hediff to use its full potential, in this update there are two weapons that inflict the hediff, and one weapon that uses that hediff to increase its destructive potential.
Think you can do one for Arachne Race?

Most new buildings are separate and found in the Apitecture tab, unless they're security or structure related.
