Updated for game version 3.6.0 and its ascendancy paths.

This still works...sort of. But the restructuring of how they did Ascensions would warrant an update to the way it goes. Like. Guaranteeing the techs that completing the tradition trees unlocks. Would love that. Love your mod, obviously.

Indeed it's a game which need luck. Sometimes you can complete Synthetic Ascension before 2030 without any mod if you are lucky.

Perhaps Mastery of Nature could boost for climate resto/ecological adaption? Otherwise im not sure what other ascension perk would justify that @Bald, even though they are incredibly annoying to get.

Must be nice add the same for "climate restoration"and "ecological adaption" one time u have Terrestrial Sculpting

@HellsBain Materialist empires explicitly require psionic pops or a psi expert in order for the psionic theory tech to appear for them at all, per the wiki.
That is the lockout in question.

I meant that it's usually much more difficult to get Psionic Theory as a materialistic empire. It's doable, but it's not something that'll usually come naturally.

what do you mean "Locked out"? I play fanatic material psionics all the time. It can take a little longer to get it but if you put a maniacal researcher in charge of society its not much longer because of the bonus to rare tech options they get

Materialistic empires were never technically locked out of psionic ascension; you just had to get really lucky and be the first empire to make contact with a hive mind empire and gain a psionic specialty scientist through that event. But realistically giving materialistic empires the option for psionic ascension is the idea, yes.

Does this mean that materialistic empires are no longer locked out of psionic ascension? Because that's very cool.
