great mod you did great work.
The current number of books you get is a hardcoded value that's currently set to a maximum 16 bit integer, and in terms of gameplay execution there's no real purpose to have it constantly check a config or variable whenever it touches book values... not that it'd be any noticeable difference in optimization really.
Regardless, basically I just want it to be 1. enough that it won't ever be a problem, and 2. enough that it's obvious you got them through a mod even if you disable it.
Unfortunately the mod description warns that it can't be reverted, and that's at least partially by design and coding convenience. If you want to enable something to make the game easier, it leaves a marker in the form of the number of books.
It won't affect any books or pages you unlock for the first time after you turn the mod off though.
All this does is it increases all books and pages you own to effectively infinite. If you never get the drop in the first place, then it can't help.
thanks!
No, but there is a mod called Achievement Unblocker that can turn them back on.

(thanks in advance)
Other than that, I don't think there's any other mods that really lower the grind. Honestly I don't even think the grind is particularly bad in the first place, so I wouldn't even know where to start with making one somewhere in the middle.
It feels a little too op to give every character I have super strong pages.
Second of all, you did actually start the game with mods enabled and then tick the check box next to NoGrind?
(or if you wanted to restart, it doesn't exactly take long to just blow through the first two chapters)
There's no way to track what you used to have, since it directly modifies the inventory.
Honestly it sounds like something corrupted or a previously used mod mangled your game files. My suggestion would genuinely be a complete reinstall of the game, and making sure no remnant files get left in the install folder.
You might also just try completely deleting the managed folder and verifying game files first, it'd take a lot less time than a complete reinstall.
Also if neither works, potentially a new save file, since I've seen some similar things happen with broken save files.
If somehow all of these don't work, feel free to grab game logs (I've explained how to get them in a below comment) and send them my way, and I'll try to investigate when I have the time.
Sorry, thought I answered this already, my bad.
Anyways, there are a very few pages towards the very end of the game you get only limited copies of. It's generally not too much of a concern, but if you want to avoid that, there is a companion mod someone made called "YesGrind" that specifically fixes those instances.
Anyway issue is that I get this really weird blue screen where the LoR logo is loaded into the center and so is the mouse cursor, everything else is just blue boxes and a black background
I'm not referring to the subscribed check box in Steam, even after you subscribe to a mod, it's off by default in LoR itself.
If you make sure of this and it still doesn't function, you can get a log file at
C:\Users\[you]\AppData\LocalLow\Project Moon\LibraryOfRuina
(Where [you] is whichever user you are on the computer) and upload it to pastebin or something and then link it here, and I can investigate further.
