Huh, I guess one of my dev branches leaked into my releases then. Yea, the ARs are not meant to be accessible outside the sub editor yet. Ive worked and reworked them a few times now, and havent worjed on their muzzle flashes or FX at all

Another thing to mention, are the rifles supposed to be accessible normally in a campaign?
The Terminus is craftable through the fabricator, though it's ammo isn't. The Cycler TRV is found in merchant stocks every so often, it's ammo is also craftable, but it's recycle recipe uses a full Terran SMG magazine to make.
I do like the addition of the rifles but if it's not intended then I understand them not being accessible

Please translate mod using google translator. I've tried a bunch of weapon mods, but yours is the best. I really like your mod, but it stands out too much from the others, because it's the only one not translated.

love this mod and the content it adds, however when playing with friends we stumbled an occurrence where after accepting a mission to destroy a separatist sub, the log had several errors stating "Could not find human prefab 'psa_captain_seppie_2000ivi' from 'psa_npc_compat_seppie'" making us unable to start a new round. Removing the mod made the mission disappear but the round loaded fine. Is this an issue with the mod or something on our part?

@geoose The standard battery is used for the ARs that I still havent made available to craft. I havent come up with a good way to make them stand out or be worth using over SMGs. You can play with them in the editor though.

@Crayssius The sprites come from three sources: pulling them from the API, ripping them out of the game, and getting them off the wiki when either of the former failed to give me a good result.
The sounds all came straight from the game files.

That is only intended for VS batteries. NC and TR magazines should consume the iron and lead used to make them

Depleted ammo, when deconstructed, gives the full materials used to craft that magazine back. Is this intentional?

Oh, and old tr/nc magazines decided to break and I was forced to remove them. They have been re-added as seperate items... it's kinda fucked. But I know what did it, unlike the SMGs, so that shouldnt happen again.

Guess what? New update. Added the starter pistols, woo! You can now craft the weapons and ammo. Behind the scenes, I've atlas'd teh textures so some wierd shit like icons not showing in the editor should no longer be a problem.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Something broke the Armistice and Cyclone in assemblies and subs. The fix is easy all you gotta do is delete them, re-add them, and save. If you had the weapons in a save, I think you'll have to chuck the cursed version out the airlock. No idea what broke them.

Hah. Well, I started with SMG's since Baro already has one, tuned for the game. The Gen1 SMGs here use the exact same spread model for that reason. When it comes to other weapon classes, I am trying to figure out how to differentiate them in a meaningful way. Sadly, I dont have a lot of options there, as power scaling quickly turns human enemies to mist, and most of the typical creature threats similarly become non-issues for a crew. Spread is possible to use, ARs for example could retain accuracy over range by using the same rules as the AR Security gets. In the end, while I am just throwing PS2 weapons in, I still gotta make the mod usable and interesting. I dont want it to be a "Haha funny PS2 weapon go brr" and then you unsub from it because you had your fill. Carbines make it even harder since the difference between them, ARs, and SMGs are hard to define in this game.

Commissioner and sounds have been added. Yes you can dual wield the commies, I would never deprive you of that. Spawns in ruins just like the SMGs. Have fun!

Very cool! Not sure if you saw my post on my mod since you'd have to sub to the thread, but feel free to post this there! Also I would recommend some action shots of the weapons! I think there is a testing level either in the workshop or the base game that let's you test items out.
