I got a Torture warrant placed on me after beating up an escaping prisoner, and they sent 2 medium-sized raids after me. Even though my first reaction was "oh, come off it" I thought about it and I was like "if they were holding my colonist prisoner and trying to brainwash him into joining them and beating him when he tried to escape, that would piss me off too." Anyway, this is a fun mod, adds some flavor to the world, looking forward to 1.6 :)

No warrants generate (with default config) after your wealth reaches a certain amount...like 1-2 million.
At that point, warrants only generate if you turn on wealth-scaling warrants in the mod settings.

@WhiskersAndCookie Ill look into remedies for the warrant, but I don't really agree with your reasoning. There are many things in this game that occur due to omnipotence of pawns/factions.

Your statement can be applied to many things with the base game as well. In-fact, there is an entire mod to deal with those kind of events in vanilla of pawns and factions just 'knowing' about events not in their sight. There is no 'communication' factor in the base game, so it's not something within the scope of this mod to consider.

it would be nice to be able to disable colonist warrants of certain types so we can fix the torture issue ourselves. or that reason could just be removed entirely, since even without the warrants happening for quelling prison breaks, the only people who know about it are the prisoners (who don't have any kind of outside communication to place the warrant) and the colonists themselves (which, even if you hate the person who did it, why would you risk getting yourself killed by bounty hunters who raid your base looking for your fellow colonist)

using a transport pod to send the warranted person to a settlement doesn't appear to count it as complete, and the 'slave sold' moodlet is applied, though idk of the last part is necessarily wrong

is it really a must to have worsened relations upon failure of warrant. wanted soem mole dude from some hostile raiders as mining slave bt empire picked it up and then bam failed and down to -19 relations ... damn .. what are chances of them failing ? or is it just that ifailed to return with my caravan and money to pay that reward money for my mole ?!! they were like by hair close in deadlines

I might have won jackpot ... due to getting warrant for a "viceroy" criminal ... shortly lv6 psychic, some low-mid bionics (detox lung, drill arm, armor gland) but he has some sick crow worth 12000 and rest is hyperware excellent noble clothing ... he himself is worth on bounty 1900silv .. lmao but then i loaded him on caravan ... him being like almost just below "Empress" he had .. ALL KINDS OF CALL-INS and THEY WERE FREE ... 1000 plasteel , like 80 000silv of salaries of all ranks .. glitter meds, industrial meds, mono swords, sadly no troops .. i was tight on time of bounty delivery .. rip .. cause he has 4 shuttle abilities .. so i could jump home and then return to his next owners settlement in like under 3h .. sick ... shortly it breaks the balance for some people *bunch of mods used but biggest contributor should be " Royal + 'Nobility Enhanced' Medium Version

I have the same prison break issue but i have found that turrets downing a prisoner does not cause this problem but this can only be used effectively when using a mod that allows turrets to target prisoners

I got the same thing mentioned below, stopped a prisoner from beating their fellow prisoner to death and got my pawn accused of torture. Like huh? Not like anyone was around to see it.

I don't want to disable warrants on my colonists but its a bit dumb that your pawn gets a warrant for "torture" when putting down prison breaks. Or gets a warrant for poaching when the animal they killed was from vanilla genetics expanded's roaming monstrousities event.

Tried it with an overland caravan and still greyed out - I have the correct item(an ultra level skill chip - artistic). One person is carrying it in their own inventory. And have another item in the inventory of the muffalo.

Small problem I am having. I built an Srts Small skip. Loaded a pilot and the item for the warrant. Went to their base but it says I have to have the item (give warrant item is greyed out). Does it have to be by ground vehicle or caravan only?

Bit annoying when your colonist gets a warrant for stopping prisoners from escaping... Apparently, if you don't just let them walk free, it's torture

I keep getting problems where a couple of days after getting a warrant, a camp gets built on the site where the warrant is, meaning I automatically fail the quest and get a bounty on my colonist for fraud! Any idea whats causing this

There is a problem in vanilla psycasts expanded and this, if you select the psycast ring artifact it removes the inputs to change it and select prices, locking you out of artifact warrants

I love the idea of the "create warrant for artifacts". Would it be possible to edit what items are considered "artifacts"? Either in-game or xml files? If its not possible in-game, would you consider adding this as a feature so players can choose what items they wish to create requests for?

removed it mid save cuz it didnt rlly fit my playthrough and now all of the settlement and quest icons are gone, if i zoom out i can see them but when im zoomed in theres nothing, anyone have any cue how i can fix that? (ive alr tried reloading the save and adding the mod back it didnt fix anything)

Whenever a warrant fails to generate because there are no non-hostile humanlike factions that exists, an ERROR is thrown. It shouldn't do that, it should throw a warning or something weaker instead.

@Just Better on the vehicles there should be a gizmo saying load pawn
