There is no problem with sunfish in cold water tanks. They often go to the colder deep sea to find food, and they even appear in frigid waters.

it is atm but I might change it since it did say that if it stay in cold water for too long it could potentially die

Can mola be made to ignore the tropics and cold water? I want to keep it in a cold water tank

In my opinion it makes more sense to use average height, not maximum.
Triggered Cat  [author] 19 Dec, 2021 @ 11:58pm
I am aware of the 4 meters but it say that it is it maximum size so reduced to a more "avergae" size but if the 4 meters work better then I will go with that

If you look up "Mola mola height" on google (typically what TC does) you get a height of about 4 meters which comes out to be 100 exactly.

If we are going with the average height then I need to reduce it size even more cause atm I am using the 3.3 m size for calculation but the average size of it is actually 1.8 m or the fin to fin being 2.5 m which one should I use? cause I think you know about it more than me :/

mola is based on height, not length.

Interesting for the Mola since for some reason when I reverse the ingame size to the real thing it come to be equal to max size for it.

So in Megaquarium vanilla (and typically modded) most animals are based on their average size. The sawfish was actually perfectly average size, as was the mola, in AC. The Napoleon wrasse is the only animal in the entire game that was actually not average size. :P

This is according to the fishbase size I did bump the Napoleon from actually being 57.5 to 60 so it did be a round number and being easier for calculating the eater trait. And for the Mola I am using the maximum size (not across the fin) to be more in line with the other sunfish mods (specifically the sharptail which I base the calculation for).

I think the Napoleon Wrasse could be smaller, 30-40, because the Queensland Groupe in the other mods is only 45 (they are the biggest coral fish and the Napoleon Wrasse is only second) and Sun Fish doesn't have to be smaller. Because they are the heaviest bony fish

According to my source sometime they have been found to have eel grass in their 's diet . But after some more opinions from other modder I think I will get rid of the plant destroyer trait.

I don't think mola eats plants. At least, not ones that aren't microscopic.
