It would be nice to see this with modded occupations supported, but if possible you could also just spawn the player in with a weak weapon from their best weapon skill if their occupation isn't vanilla, whether it's added to this mod or separate. Stuff like kitchen knives, wrenches, bats, or damaged weapons for long blade and guns. Would make occupations that start with points in Long Blade not as awful, which is a fairly large issue due to the extremely limited pool of weapons categorized as one.

Please can you change the bat on the Security Guard to the night stick? I feel it suits it better than the bat.

I think the constructionworker should start with a sledgehammer it would give him a purpose for people who just want to start building a base right away. because i dont think anyone will ever play as a construction worker otherwise. so perhaps changing his bonus from short blunt to long blunt and give him a sledgehammer again, and possible a few more negative points because the sledgehammer is really nice to have and long blunt are probably the most popular melee weapons in the game so that skill and xp bonus would be worth alot to many ppl as well

ICaRus, but you only get jacket and helm from the mod. default firefighter already have boots and pants. (and jacket is easily replaceable by almost any leather vest without much issues)

I really enjoy this, but it does make for a much easier start with some professions. Maybe I will turn it off from time to time to not start out with great armour, an axe and a hiking bag. Though I guess at least the firefighter armour I could also just skip - it's very enticing, though. ;)

@Sego I imagine that gloves give bite/scratch protection as well as weather related protections, so you'd need them for the same reason you'd need any other ciothing items.

@Korhal Just FYI, there's a mod that let's you pick any clothing items that exist in the game during character creation, though I don't remember what it's called...

I think, he means adding gloves to the the Nurse and Doctor occupation or starting equipment, as these cannot be set during the char creation.

How does this work in MP? My friends and I started a server with this mod enabled but we still don't spawn with our starting occupational items: I don't have cigarettes from Smoker and I don't have the Veteran's weapon list

is there a way to make this mod work ONCE? as in, when someone joins the server, their first character gets whatever they should, but if they die, they do not get items
