Managed to get it to work on the latest update.
this will also work for all outdated mods.
if you are reading this, go into the mod creation options and make a new mod (Same name) - copy the files from this mod (exuding the DynamicLights.dll file)
update and build it!

on a rtx 4090 and its a pretty cool mod! would love to see it come to the latest version with some changes like players & entity's making shadows in light! stuff like glowsticks and lava should also have light (unsure why the daybloom flower has a light on it lol)

I really really really hope this mod get any update one day. I can't get decent performance with it even with a high end PC using 99% of GPU, which is very sad because this mod alone is already a master piece. When combined with Lights and Shadows then, the game becomes gorgeous, but unplayable around my base during day time lmao, it goes like 5 fps

Great idea, buuuuuuut when using flaming arrows, I get hit with massive lag spikes. The twins were an insane nightmare of lag. Anything that casts light really, torches, coins, undead miner, stars....

the lighting on the plants are a little to much, if there was a setting to disable dynamic lighting for the plants i'd be nice

platforms are just an FPS killer and cutoff does nothing about it but otherwise it's a neat mod

Like for example using mirror gets me down to 15 fps. With both default settings and reduced ones.

Getting insane performance drops randomly. I guess some enemies or spells cause this?

Got no idea if this mod is getting updated anymore, but i've encountered a bug, where when i place a platform, it "lets light shine through" and causes crazy performance issues.. and i have a 3080..

i never realized i would have to work my brand new 3070 so hard on a 2d game
