vincent_calgari 22 Jan @ 4:17am
does this still work in 1.5? in spite of it not being updated?
whenwrašk 8 Jul, 2024 @ 11:47am
...eye branch?
DJkiro19 14 May, 2024 @ 8:14am
welp, dunno if people still wonder, but I just tested it out, they don't count as natural, but I should have guessed it by the Bionics part of the title
Markizo 7 Jan, 2024 @ 11:33pm
Maybe someone already asked that. Does this implants considred "implants" for ideology (transgumanism, bioconservatism)? For example, would my bioconservative colony be upset with anima eye?
Frostiken 11 Dec, 2023 @ 9:52pm
Is that an anima sandwich?
Victor 25 Oct, 2022 @ 10:01am
Done, I just published a fork for your mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2879835262
Also, you can just reupload this with a 1.4 tag, as it works fine without any changes, so far at least.
Seti  [author] 24 Oct, 2022 @ 11:38pm
sure just add me as a coathor
Victor 24 Oct, 2022 @ 1:37pm
I was working on a balance patch that I never released. Do I have permission to reupload this mod with my changes?
DickHardly 22 Oct, 2022 @ 12:07pm
@Seti Oh my bad, honestly didn't know you went through all that. Glad you're okay tho G.
Richard Mc Nutbuster 22 Oct, 2022 @ 6:04am
happy you're alive seti, a good country gets a bad rep for its shitty dictator.
Seti  [author] 22 Oct, 2022 @ 6:02am
I escaped russia and couldnt get my pc.. so, if someone wants to update it, ill ad you as an author, also no idea what changed with implants in 1.4:shadow_1:
DickHardly 22 Oct, 2022 @ 5:26am
1.4?
Zero 24 Sep, 2022 @ 8:47pm
CE ?
ScaryRabbit 4 Sep, 2022 @ 9:39am
@Theo there s a mod it s I don t remember the exact name, but it s "... Ashes V2" that also adds a new way of getting neolithic bionics, that mod works with climate control somewhere, I remember my mutant symbiotic pawns having absurd climate resistance.
ScaryRabbit 4 Sep, 2022 @ 9:36am
@Seti it s part of life, I m not requiring you to modify your mod, I just asked because some modders aren t aware of Elite Bionics Framework. So don t worry, first life, modding is just a hobby ; )
ImJustJun 3 Sep, 2022 @ 1:27pm
@Seti your mods are amazing but if you gotta prioritize irl then do so. There's nothing wrong with that and you should never feel guilty for focusing on your life first. I'm glad for your mod and it's given me a lot of joy and there's no need to force yourself to try and satisfy everyone. Just make the mods cause you find it fun and/or rewarding, not to please the masses where someone is likely to still get upset anyways no matter what.
Seti  [author] 3 Sep, 2022 @ 9:57am
:eye_1: at this point it feels like I shouldnt even upload mods if I cant satisfy people and always end up abandoning them :eye_2:
Seti  [author] 3 Sep, 2022 @ 9:56am
My condition honestly isnt too good, and also I have college again, so if any of you want to add more balance and parts, you are free to do so, moreover, I can incorporate it into my mod and add you as a dev
Is that what they say when a mod is up for adoption?
@ScaryRabbit it doesnt REQUIRE it, but from what I remember it requires to make the wooden plates add armor and such, since in vanillla you cant change limb hitpoints
Theo3211 3 Sep, 2022 @ 9:18am
Hello, your mod is awesome, I can finaly have fun playing neolithics. I have a suggestion however. Can you make a bionic, or rework the wooden plates, to give temperature resistances? I find it a bit hard at the time to balance temperatures, since neolithics don't have many options. Also perhaps it'd be possible to expand onto all body parts, I'd love to have a pinnochio type paw with anima jaw nose ect. Amazing job
ScaryRabbit 1 Sep, 2022 @ 9:08am
Hey, one question, does that mod make use of elite bionics framework?
Scorpio 27 Aug, 2022 @ 6:20am
some more body parts would be nice , and having this on the crafting spot or drug lab maybe?
PearificPear 22 Aug, 2022 @ 10:53am
@(=◉‿‿◉=) I you feel like it is unbalanced (and can't be bothered to wait for a potential update) customize the changes you want in the XML files. Personally I made it so they need the Anima Fruit (From the anima fruit mod) to craft. Makes it possible to not be able to outfit an entire colony with overpowered bionics so early on, and personally I feel like it adds to the "lore" of the mod as well. Can also be made to require "Anima wood" (from the - you guessed it - Anima Wood mod). Balances it even further, since cutting anima trees gives a debuff for quite sometime. Makes the reward much sweeter, IMO. You do you, happy modding!
Copper Boltwire 22 Aug, 2022 @ 8:08am
Could also use some expansion
(≡◉‿‿◉≡) 20 Aug, 2022 @ 2:27pm
This is an amazing mod but.... any plans on balancing the stats?
Get Donked On 6 Aug, 2022 @ 1:26pm
maybe it is a "trunk" if you catch my drift
Copper Boltwire 17 Jul, 2022 @ 4:32pm
Typos located when trying to install "Anima Trunk"
The action says Install Anima Pine, not spine or trunk.

This is not a problem, but thought you might like to know ^_^
Noisy Koi 4 Jun, 2022 @ 11:32pm
ngl, kinda weird that it's made at cooking stations instead of at like a drug station or crafting spot but otherwise pretty good
PearificPear 29 May, 2022 @ 1:35pm
@Scorpio

Look in the pictures. You see all parts there.
Scorpio 29 May, 2022 @ 1:17pm
Does this have feet? Or hands?
kongkim 24 Mar, 2022 @ 11:34am
Ok thx a lot for the answer :)
Seti  [author] 24 Mar, 2022 @ 11:12am
@kongkim those count for transhumanism
kongkim 24 Mar, 2022 @ 11:08am
Are this taken as bionic implants or pyre body implants. will it give mood bonus if my indology give that for bionic implants?
PearificPear 23 Mar, 2022 @ 8:45am
@Seti I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you are doing well, all things considered. Take care of yourself first and foremost.

I'll see what I can do. I'll probably just change the recipies in this mod to take Anima Wood instead. Don't know how to write a mod/patch from scratch. When I'm feeling less stressed in school I might get working on a more permanent solution.
Seti  [author] 23 Mar, 2022 @ 6:38am
I know that there are a lot of ways to improve this mod, a lot of patches to make
However Im a low functioning schizophrenic
And my period of being productive ended a while ago
if you want to make a patch, or an addition, or anything
feel free to do so, and ill add a link to it in the description:shadow_2:
PearificPear 23 Mar, 2022 @ 4:31am
Any chance to get a patch that makes it so you have to use the wood from this mod to make the bionics? Would balance things out a great deal. And is quite thematic as well.

CocidiousMcBeth 15 Mar, 2022 @ 10:03am
honestly this is great work but it could be more balanced by just making them weaker to hot and cold weather and fire damage when you use implants. as plants suffer in hot and cold so would a person becoming more plant. this would make how many implants you use a choice that would depends on gear you have or how stable a temp aria you live in with fire a real enemy.
Akaruz64 12 Mar, 2022 @ 2:31am
I would really love if there was a way to have a dedicated workbench for them (even if its a spot workbench similar to comms console ritual mod) to clear the clutter from stoves/campfire but i can understand it being something not so easily implemented sadly, regardless cool mod!
Ren 9 Mar, 2022 @ 10:03pm
@iddqd Pick up your keyboard again and check the CE github.. yes, yes there is
Kosolaper 2 Mar, 2022 @ 1:57am
But i think patch need to be done, for mod to be working
Kosolaper 2 Mar, 2022 @ 1:54am
PearificPear 1 Mar, 2022 @ 11:29pm
The arms don't seem to take gloves (from Vanilla Apparel Expanded). If one regular arm and one Anima Bionic arm it works, but not with two. Is that anything that could be patched, or no dice?
Seti  [author] 26 Feb, 2022 @ 11:36pm
@iddqd I have never played CE so I dont know what needs to be done
iddqd 26 Feb, 2022 @ 4:50pm
Also, since I`ve already picked up my keyboard, will there ever be CE compatibility for this mod?
iddqd 26 Feb, 2022 @ 4:49pm
@Jordan Davis the age in Rimworld accounts only for age-related diseases and immunity gain speed. Bad backs and cataracts can`t get you if you replace corresponding organs with sweet technology, and immunity is pretty manageable at great ages with dual immunoenhancers, luciferium and good medical facility. So yeah, aside from raids and all that full bionic pawn can live for long time, even forever because by the time they reach centuries of age you`ll surely have a healer serum to spare if their immunity finally becomes lacking.
Life expectancy is a fixed per species parameter to calculate immunity gain rate and stuff, nothing more.
Jordan Davis 25 Feb, 2022 @ 4:09pm
Is there anyway to add more implants to replace more of the pawn or make it so if all the implants are added somthing happens that make the pawns life expectancy way more like 200 years or so?
teabag 23 Feb, 2022 @ 8:12pm
This is a great mod! I was a little worried about it being too OP in the description, but it's mostly tweaked bionic and less than archotech. The exception being the mind / psychic dryads however the high crafting and medical skill requirements make these mid - late game so that's perfectly fine.

Could you please share/upload your Anima Gear reworked files? I found the crafting options underwhelming and worse than cloth with zero armor and less insulation. It would have been simpler to just make the anima grass a generic psy crafting material and add the crown and staff as special items.
5katz 13 Feb, 2022 @ 6:48am
Is there a way not to have these spawn on spacer type pawns, seems these are in the same bionic class as normal ones, thus generating on spacers
Seti  [author] 6 Feb, 2022 @ 4:56am
@Татьяна Ларина yeah it is
thats why I actually changed the files of it for myself
to be able to do make anything out of anima grass
сэр Суер-Выер 6 Feb, 2022 @ 4:33am
Good mod to have, original animagrass gear is absolutely useless
