Hi I have a question. If I add more then one of your Classic Mechs in my mod list it says they conflict with eachother. No matter wich I pick if I use more then one Classic mech I get a warning message about conflicting mods. is there a way to get around this?

@Guddalicious This usually happens with Yet Another Mechlab (YAML). In my games at least, it doesn't account for mechs that have engine heatsinks, if you popped the correct heat sinks in there, bam, its at max tonnage.

@SankaraSamsara What do you mean "re-acquire them"? Is it something I have to do with the files or you mean reacquire the Mechs? I launched an old save and the Timberwolf is gone, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

when I try to customize mine, it starts off overweight. Is there a reason for this? I wanted to customize, but that would bring it under the current tonnage it runs, and was curious about what was going on

Yes I did a massive remaster of the whole mod that meant I had to change the name of the MDA files. You'll have to re-acquire them, unfortunately.

New version is much improved with 5 new variants, animation fixes, weapon visualization, weapon placement, cockpit fixes and a bunch of other stuff.

I also lost all My Mad Cats after the April 3rd update. I've tried just about everything to recover them. Nothing works. Any suggestions?

I had 5 of these in my inventory yesterday. Today all 5 are gone. This is my 2nd favorite mech until 400 tons at 90 difficulty, after 90 difficulty it is #1. So this unit missing is a big deal in my campaign. The Hellbringer (my favorite mech below 90 difficulty) can not compete.
Any ideas where the Madcat went?

can confirm, just go deep enough into kurita, BUT, whats up with the paint options? i can get down with the presets but i jsut wish it used the normal options

Can't seem to get the timberwolf to show up in my campaign at all.. I have classic mech collection, I've tried with JUST the timberwolf mod, I've tried disabling all mods except mech delivery, and timberwolf and it still is not showing up in the mech delivery selection, however it shows up in instant action.

Xeno Art Optimizer conflicted with it as you suggested. Once removed, the paint looks correct now!

You're running a mod that's changing the material. Probably Xeno something, which messes with a lot of stuff in the game and downgrades the visuals.

Mod plays and works great! Having such a blast using this in campaign!!

Just a few things:
Periodically, when loading a saved game it will state that the loadout is invalid and a refund has been done. However, this is not the case when double checking your loadout.

Second, are all the skins supposed to have the shiny chromium look? Only the default skin has the more matte paint like the rest of the vanilla mechs. All the other paint schemes have the chromium shader applied for some reason.

It's a mod. Yes, it works on a Steam deck. I don't think there's a language requirement.

update. The no tonnage limit mod with this mod crashes. If you load YAML first then no tonnage this mod works even though it says there is a conflict.

Hmm. For some reason my game is now crashing with this mod active. It was working well with the Mechcommder mod. I am using it with the vanilla version finally found one but the game crashed when continuing from my save.

@dirtyvaderdaddy: the conflict is the testmap with my other classic mech mods. it's just a testmap used in the editor for bugfixing, it does not mean anything at all.

fyi all of your mods have conflict issues with MW5 Mod Compatibility Pack. the mod manager in game doesnt say it does but it does(fps drops/stutter & sound cuts out), if you set the MW5 Mod Compatibility Pack at 99 in the load order most of the conflict issues go away.

@milk5: roam around kurita and rasalhague space. remember you can preview which mechs a star system will spawn before travelling there.

I added this but havent seen one in about 24 hours of campaign gameplay. Am I missing something or is this normal? I currently am rep 9 if that matters. I do have a few assaults in my lance now

If you bring in the Summoner make it the Mechwarrior 3 Summoner. Heck I would like to see all the clan mechs. While playing with the Mad Cat (Timberwolf) it seems like there's invalid slots. Can you fix that?

There seems to be a bug when fitting it. There are some duplicate, unusable slots (like 2 head slots, 2 extra on legs, 4 on arms, 1 on torsos)

For everyone who cant find it in save editor, I figured it out. Go into your mods folder (<SteamDirectory>\steamapps\common\MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries\MW5Mercs\Mods) and copy the JSON file there, then paste it in the workshop mod folder (<SteamDirectory>\steamapps\workshop\content\784080). After that, delete your mod cache and make a new one selecting the 784080 folder. The problem was the save editor was expecting the JSON file to be in the same location but for some reason its not.

for the life of me I cant get the mechs to load. If I cant get them to load where do these normally show up at on the map? I have tried where the traditional clan invasion happens at and nothing.

For the life of me, I cannot get this to work. I've subscribed to the mod, I have the proper savegame editor, I point it to the correct mod path... but "Timberwolf MDA" is nowhere to be found on the cold storage mech menu.

I've tried unssubing/resubbing the mod. In fact, I did it to ALL of my mods. And no, I'm not using YAML.

Help?

Hey Samsara, I know you're a busy individual but could it be possible that you and Kamazaki work together to make a version of the TimberWolf and Mad Dog for Unification? They just updated Unification to add the Ursus with the paint jobs of the clans and that made me think of the TimberWolf and Mad Dog, maybe even the Summoner if that's still in the works as well.

@Storm: Try unsubscribe and subscribe to the mod. Sometimes Steam doesn't update properly.
