Can anyone point me to, why these weapons appear to have no sound at all?
The rays could have a bit more "oomph" in visuals, but besides that the weapons are nice and I like them, they make no sounds though.. *shrugs*

The beam could have more contrast...in the VRO version it's confusing when you can't see where it's pointing at such a long distance. Also the sound effect could be louder...otherwise good job.

Der Hüllenschaden entsteht GENAU dort wo der Treffer landet. Ist direkt DANEBEN ein Turret, so nimmt dieses keinen Schaden. Bei einem Gebietsschaden würde das Turret aber, je nach Entfernung, einen anteiligen Schaden nehmen. Also zählt hier auch ein indirekter Treffer.

kannst du mir den Unterschied erklären zwischen Hüllenschaden (ohne Gebietsschaden) und Gebietshüllenschaden (im Epizentrum)? Bzw was ist damit gemeint?

Yes it is sticky.
I don't know that Annihilater mod.
And yes, stickys should work DOT. I'm not sure if you can set the stick-time. But I think so.

Question about the MAM cannons. Do they have sticky projectile? irrc, you said they create a micro-singularity at the target (and there is a visual effect to that end too), so I wanted to know if the sticky projectile buff that Annihilator mod gives would buff this cannon.

For the record, according to every source I could find "sticky projectile" is egosoft's way of saying "applies a DOT effect".

The nonVRO is bugged. Range of gamma-beam are 13km and ~1700 dmg instead of the 8km and 561 dmg. The M/AM have 14km range and ~1000 dmg instead the 8.9km and 1388dmg. the range and dmg of the nonVRO M also incorrect. Hope you can fix that soon. love the Mod but with the crazy beam dmg/range terran wipe out ANT and ARG at my save. would be also Nice if you can set the constrution mats on terran mats. much more expensive but just Terran mats

@Vangoich There is a ui mod on the nexus that fixes that. It is called UI extensions and HUD. It fixed it for me anyways

The mod itself worked pretty fine until 5.x. Maybe it is cuased by the 5.x-changes. I must take a look at them first.

I've got an issue and I think it might be this mod, it occurs after upgrading my ship with the new weapons. If I bring up the ship information and go to the load out tab, nothing shows as if the button isn't working, after that the map screen becomes invisible and doesn't function until I load a save. It will work until I try to bring up the modified ships loadout tab. I'm using a few other mods so I don't know if the conflict is there or not, but thought I'd let you know

Hi Tom, where did you wanted to install? The weapons are still available for L and XL ships. The blueprints should be buyable at Pioneers and Terran.

The turrets use vanilla sounds and muzzles. Shouldn‘t be a mod issue.

@ EtarnalAzure: I have tested the weapons and they work perfectly. AI also use them on Asgard (Terran Protectorate). As far as I can see, the problem must be caused by a conflict with another mod. Sorry I can't do more for you. But maybe the update will fix the problem somehow anyway.

1. Unsubscribe
2. Delete mod folder
3. re-subscribe to the mod
If the problem persists, it is most likely due to a conflict with another mod in your case. So far there has not been such a case. And please give me a short update if this solves the issue. Thank you!

@ 潜行飘过 I think that would not be my opinion. If you like railgun, use them. The gammaray is a beam-weapon with high precisision and penetrating power. The mi m/am is a multi impact singularity creating weapon by warhead using. To change them to a railgun eqiuvalent would interrupt the charakter of these weapons. But feel free to alternate my mod.

@ EtarnalAzure: So I don't know the problem. I have gamma turrets on ships and stations. Everything works perfectly. But I will remove the Nividium requirement in the next update to prevent problems with Terran stations.

According to the shipyard, Nividium is needed for the production of the gamma cannon. But I can't sell it to the shipyard. It is not in the trade menu. The trading station in the neighboring sector doesn't want it either. How do I get further?

Proceed from the standard settings of the original weapon class. You can change the speed of rotation of the tower +/- but not more than with a difference of up to 10% of the general parameters. Otherwise, there will be a terrible imbalance.

@G.A.: I will have a look at this, thank you! But antimatter converter and -cells are needed for the multi impact matter/antimatter-weapon. For Gamma-weapon I will add the need of nividium - that's a good suggestion :)

Thanks for the effort.
But I do not use VRO and fighters are getting shredded without any effects, rendering any other weapon useless. The turret turn rate and accuracy could be a bit too high. fyc :)

They could be good weapons if only Terran materials + nvidium were used to build them. Since you write that they are based on Khaaks weapons, the use of nvidium would make more sense.
The use of antimatter converter and antimatter cells is not good.
