The keyboard is alt hold, or the distance to the bottom - there are 2 modes.

If you spawn a Hydra into the water, you can place the speeder in line with the connectors, but below the level of the vehicle. When Hydra falls on the speeder, it is most likely to connect))) Or you can make a cart, to spawn the speeder at a distance and then bring it under the connectors.
